I’ve had no problem defeating the various champions upto this point, taking only one or two attempts but i’ve had no luck with Salazon after 10+ attempts.

My gear loadout has been full zerker/sword+torch/horn and I can’t dps him down fast enough. Even with the traited toughness signet to give me 6secs of invulnerability and Protect me!

But i’ve never got him past 30% even when I circle after Protect me! and SoT has worn off.

You could try a LB or SB… that way you dont have to stand in his AoE and get burnt to a crisp.

As far as DPSing him with a sword goes though.. I’d have thought RaO is better, or at least activate the seed turrets before going up and attacking him, dont bother with the torch offhand since you do no condition damage and its a waste of time you could be using to sword smack him, and maybe use SoW as well.

It may also be worth openning with GS #3 #2 then changing to sword.

I took him down with soldier armor and zerk trinkets. I just use LB and circle around him.
