So, I’ve played other classes off and on but always stuck to my necro and engineer. However, I really like greatswords so I wanted to make a class that uses one. Since I’m partial to medium armor, went with ranger. Post patch I’ve leveled a ranger to 50 but always wound up deleting. So to see if I’d still like the feel of the ranger, put my old zerker build together and went into hotjoin.

DEAR GOD the people that hate rangers right now! Every match no matter where I went there were

  1. at least 3 Rangers in there and
  2. tons of people complaining about rangers

The complaints ranged from rangers are noobs, rangers are cheese, rangers should be replaced with a real profession. Just insane really.

yep , they are so use to a Melee meta , they know how to counter these Range attacks just lack the practice in performing them.

and honestly if they let a ranged attack snipe them , for shame.

You know, I joined a group in WvW the other day and the first question was, “Is ranger your main?” I explained that I had leveled my ranger in WvW since the game came out. Their response, “Good, glad you not a flavor of the month

We proceeded to wreck havoc on the other worlds. <insert menacing grin>

Anvil Rock – Out manned, out gunned and no repair costs, so Leeroy up and dive in.
See you in Tyria.
