I like using ancestral grace mid-air but ya something needs patching.
Would blocking weapon swap in mid-air be the solution or would that make others’ tricks no longer effective?
the bug is the jump mechanic and not the staff, you don’t loose your momentum if you swap your weapon during jump skills and it effects all classes with such skills
and stop feeding the troll, he is just posting here to generate rage

he would not make that distance without ancestral grace and its ability to be used in mid-air, chaining it after the first leap has ended.

Well, then people wouldn’t be able to cancel their greatsword swoop halfway to control the distance I guess. Probably applies to a lot of other jump skills too.
I’d much rather they throw in some invisible barriers or something else…
Invisible barriers wouldn’t work well when considering projectiles and targeted aoe. And well, jumping out of an objective.
Invisible walls are the lamest thing they can do.

They just need to place one way invisible walls so enemies can’t jump over the walls, leave it so defenders can jump in. Boom, gliding works if they want it in later and this combo stays for nice jukes in the game.

I hope they find a way to fix the game breaking problems without removing the combo. But I’m sure they’ll go the easier route and destroy it.

the only place this will matter is wvw in a few hours since gliding will be available in most parts of pve.
besides who cares, it’s not like its a mesmer who can port in the entire zerg

umm ok quick question where is the bug???? Theifs,guardians,mesmer and revenants can teleport 1 floor up and many claim thats not a bug and this which clearly isnt a bug ppl claim is one….
do ppl even still know what a bug is?
first you use a combo finisher leap that works as intended and the use you the druid staff 3 that works as intended so where is the bug

considering its just a lightning rush in disguise and is technicly a charge NOT a blink or teleport by your logic that should apply to charge skills aswell

That I’m aware.
But this combo proposed here was the 1st thing that came into my mind when we got the Ride the Lightning ctrl+c > ctrl+v.
And now when there’s changes about to happen, people have problems clicking the dodge button, they have problems with pets that were here for 3,5 years, they cannot handle that Rangers have auto-attacks too, they can’t handle that Rangers can use Celestial amulet just like everybody else…
Why now of all times? Couldn’t they start forsaking themselves since the beginning? Why now to show how childish they can behave?
