healing spring should be a trap.

Healing Spring is much closer to a Consecration
Classing it as such would require no change to the current skill.
A future specialization might give ranger concecrations and they would class Healing Spring as such as well.
While I agree with you Holland, devs will add a type for every skill that currently exist and even if Druids get consecration (which I think will be the case) a new healing will be added and it will be the consecration healing. I don’t think that the devs will allow 2 healing skills of the same type in any class.

well with everything we currently have
HaO= shout
Tu= survival
Hs= trap
Water spirit = meh could be changed to Signets summoning spirits that will combine with Signet mastery. rather than taking a spirit trait , two builds one stone.
It is similar to a consecration, for sure, but if they typed it that way, we would have to wait for X more years to get those as utility skills, plus then trait for it. Which would only be available if you took that specialisation. If it becomes a trap (and it already is) we already have the trait to improve it.

If Druid got Consecrations, why couldn’t/wouldn’t they make the Healing Spring into a consecration and add a new trap heal?
They could. But that would suck, though, due to needing the specialisation to get the trait for it. It is a core skill and should be affected by core traits.
Exactly, a core skill that could only be traited by an elite spec would be weird.

The upside to HS is the on-demand cleanse/waterfield, if that goes it’s going to hurt HS severely. We’ll have to see what they have in mind. The Idea of changing TU into a signet and HS to survival is interesting, but I feel that could possibly harm CondiSurvival builds.
In other words, the secret is being optomistic — but not having high expectations.
That’s a fine line you walk, sir. I can respect that.
Thank you. I find it rewarding on an emotional level.
Walking along a Razor’s edge? Oh god tell me your forum name isn’t chosen just for this…
Ha! It does fit, doesn’t it xD
