reverse sword #2
Wouldn’t you prefer this scenario…?
The cruel warrior’s pressure was almost too much for the noble druid. He had dug deep, evading as many of the warrior’s mindless sword blows as he could, and even the vigor that his pet inspired in him was not enough to keep up with the relentless warrior’s barrage. But then, the the druid wisely remembered to stowe the gnarled tree staff he was wielding and draw his sword and dagger, allowing him to quickly evade even more of the warrior’s strikes while he regained his endurance.
I would just like both hornet’s sting and monarch’s leaps to have directional arrows. Think it of a leap skill that you can use twice if you use it back to back.
narcx.3570 reversing sword#2 doesnt change that scenario
Sword 2 is perfectly fine as it is with one exception – the evade part on Hornet Sting needs to be applied right when I press the kitten button and not half a second later, if you ever want this skill to allow you to react to things and evade them.
They could also add another second to the time window you have before you have to use Monarch’s Leap – not really necessary, but a small, nice qol change.
I would absolutely despise having directional arrows, since imho all forms of ground targeting are slower AND clunkier to use.

I’d be good with that if they gave it a decent cleave radius and allowed for multiple targets.

I would support this change for the simple fact that the current design of the skill doesn’t make sense. Having to run up to an enemy just to launch yourself back after a single attack, with the option of launching yourself at them again for another single hit…it’s just very odd. And obviously the evade frame is laughable. It feels like a kittentier reversed version of thief’s sword #2 Infiltrator’s Strike. The only thing I like about the skill is the animation
