If you could choose who the next legend would be, who would it be? (Glint or any other ones we already know about don’t count)

I’m casting my vote for dhuum, what do you guys want?

I think Dhuum would indeed be very appropiate and it would offer the revs a torch.

His weapon to give to the Revenant would be a longbow.
The utilities could add various effects to the weapon. Burning, Poison, Torment stacks, etc.

1. It would add a Charr legend that Charr players can feel comfortable channeling.
2. It would add another female legend.
3. The Specialization weapon could be Greatsword!

As for the utility skills it can grant, perhaps it could draw inspiration from Warrior and get stances that act as upkeep skills that grant perma resistance, perma stability, and perma invuln as long as you have the energy. Of course, they can be balanced out to cost a lot of energy considering they would be very strong. Elite skill can summon Kalla’s soldiers similar to Thieves guild except all Warriors instead of thieves making them more tanky.

Can Revenants only channel dead legends? I would imagine that as long as a person has left a significant impression in the mists they could be channeled, alive or dead.

Thay don’t have to be dead, just legends. The mists can also contain the future. It’s a different time dimension.

I never played gw1 so i can’t say anyone from there(but i’m sure they all will be fro mthere.)

But i’d say Tybalt for the engineer legend, if they ever do it.

I would be against having Tybalt as a legend. He has done nothing noteworthy apart from having an endearing personality. He has little to no historical legacy in the game or achievements to his name. There are so many other characters I would consider before Tybalt even registered as a candidate to make the list.

While I like the idea of adding another female legend, I think that Bonfaaz Burntfur would be a far more interesting choice. He’s Flame Legion, caused the Searing of Ascalon, and led the charr forces in its assault. It makes his use by a Revenant, particularly if you were charr and human, far more complex.

(Also, the Revenant not getting greatsword was one of those things that a lot in the community actually rejoiced about given how tired we were of everyone and their mother’s lap dog having the overused greatsword.)

Its gonna be Glint, just because I’m guessing we are going to find her egg and hatch another friendly dragon.

I’m also going to guess Glint is the one who taught Revenants how to talk to the mists, and Rytlock is trying to find her egg in exchange or something.

I also actively hope it’s not Scarlet. Sylvari can have their centaur Ventari legend. Let the rest of us be free from Sylvari and their current favorite child status.

Legendary Warden/Plant/Whatever stance: Urgoz.

For a core race,
Legendary Human Stance: Lord Odran

I honestly really enjoyed Scarlet and would love to see her as a revenant legend.

Mallyx isn’t dead either. It doesn’t matter if you’re dead or not. Only the imprint you make on the fabric of time and space (mists) matters.

If we’re just throwing names out there, I’m gonna go with Jora as the Legendary Norn Stance, Or maybe Snaff as the Legendary Golemancer Stance (assuming we aren’t just channeling GW1 characters. But beyond that, I’m not really what sort of role they could fill, gameplay wise.
