I’m not sure this is the right place. Please let me know and I’ll repost where I should.

I love the Revenant profession. It’s exactly what my life was missing.
Here’s a few things that I’ve encountered (I find the last one most important) that don’t seem right:

  • There is not a separate kit of legends saved for underwater combat.
    I’m not sure if this is something that can be “fixed” the way I imagine, because the only profession that has a mechanic that changes underwater would be rangers, but they actually have separate slots in their pet window for the underwater pets. Necros could come close to what I think we need. However, every other profession has a different set of heal/utility/elite skills saved for underwater combat. Since our ProfMechanic changes those skills, we should have a separate save underwater as well. This is doubly true when considering only 2 legends (and maybe Glint, I don’t know) can be used underwater. Those two legends I think will be unlikely to be used simultaneously, as well. (Shiro/Mallyx).
  • Impossible Odds in PvP
    In sPvP and WvW, we often stomp enemies. Shiro’s Impossible Odds skill increases the animation of the stomp, but not the visual effect or the stomp itself. Impossible Odds does increase the rate at which we revive downed players, which is nice. I think that Impossible Odds should treat stomping and reviving the same way, whether that’s speed them up or not.
  • Action Camera with Sword 3, Axe 4, and Phase Traversal
    Action Camera makes it impossible to use Phase Traversal, Unrelenting Assault, and Frigid Blitz out of range. I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but I would like to see it addressed.
  • Legends go on cooldown when swapped out of combat.
    I’m not sure why this is, currently. You can use the arrow above the activated Stance to change it back and forth with no cooldown outside of combat, but if you use F1 to swap it will go on cooldown. I imagine this is to prevent players from running around with Impossible Odds, hitting 0 energy, switching legends twice and being back at 50 energy to run Impossible Odds again.
    Here’s my suggestion:
    Have each Legendary Stance use a separate bar of energy. If you get to 0 in Assassin Stance and then swap to Dwarf Stance, you can’t swap right back and be at 50 energy. It’ll be recharging still.

This last point poses a few potential problems:

  1. When you’re in Stance 1, Stance 2 could be gaining energy in combat and switch will put you at 100 energy.
    This could be defeated by using the same rule of resetting to 50 when swapped, but for each stance.
  2. When you have the upkeep skills draining energy and Stance is swapped, the upkeep skills might continue since they have separate energies.
    This could be defeated by terminating upkeep skills on swap.
  3. Energy might not be back at 50 when you swap Stances (because a pip rate of +5 and 9 seconds between would leave you at 45 energy swapping immediately after in combat).
    Energy could have a pip rate of +50 while it’s not the active energy bar, and nobody would be able to tell.
  4. Swapping Stances repeatedly out of combat could create too much visual noise.
    This could be defeated by putting an internal cooldown on the Stance animation, or only making it appear during combat.

Other than these things, I find the profession to be very well-rounded and I’m having tons of fun. This expansion is great, and I’m really loving gliding, the profession, and the story. No spoilers!

No breakstun and condy remove (every necr say you “suck baby”).
Can’t run away from foe (every spam thief kill you easy cos you can’t run or heal yourself).
Centavr heal has low radius (for my opinion). Too hard shot at amyone with that camera (from up will be much easy).
