Can’t find a way to cancel the shield block, it literally kills me while in pvp with conditions on, anyone knows how to stop it without un-talenting it?

Nothing works, not even movement, esc, jump, evade, nothing, even tried shiro evade, but nothing works.

If you are holding down a movement key (e.g. wasd) when you start channeling Crystal Hibernation, you need to release all of them. Then when you push a movement key again, the channel will be broken.

I am talking about the major trait, auto shield while 25% hp.

Just tested and op is right. The trait one cannot be cancelled via movement.

Its not a bug. People complained about unintentionally canceling this trait by wasd so to prevent this situation you can no longer break the effect by movement keys.

That’s why I always said that taking that trait was suicide. Lol the garbage got nerfed at some point anyway.

It was a good trait before the nerf. 4k hp on 20cd? Not bad at all. Now its trash, just like shield itself anyway.

Main issue with not being able to break it, is the function of the skill being a root. Being forced to root into a giant ‘Use unblockables’ bubble and not break it is a terrible idea. Honsetly, I don’t know why -that- skill was used on a health rate proc.

We were talking about the revenant major trait, not the shield 5#.

The whole idea of implementing actual skills as procs in traits was a missed idea anyway and I hope this sort of design will go away in the future.

The first part of the trait is actually interesting, sadly the proc is more of a trouble rather than a useful bonus.

Of all skills to have as Auto proc, this one was possibly the worst to have, given its function.

i love this trait never once screw me in WvW an i double check it you can cancel it weapon stow and esc so not bugged.

This one for the ones that say it works, ok, then after major trait proc, I press esc – the menu appears, after weapon stow nothing happens, nor for any other buttons. Also, it only works this way in spvp/mist island?

I tested in Pve and it is the same. Can’t cancel via stow or esc.
