So in my opinion, Revenant needs way to faster gain energy.. much faster..
My suggestion would be either increase the amount of Energy generated in fight, or give Revenant means to rechage energy even in case of using an upkeep skill, to the point where you could not negate, but LOWER the upkeep cost to a manageable level. For example, when you use Legendary Demon stance and it’s elite Embrace the Darkness even now, after the adjustment, you simply almost do not have enough energy to simply keep attacking unless you want to autoattack only, and even then it is gone quite fast. Maybe it is suppsoed to, but again, if you want to use the Elite even if only for a while to copy the conditions on your revenant to others, you usually are in the fight, and do not have full energy bar.
I agree that balance question can be problematic, but then again, if you give Revenant the ability or trait to lower the upkeep cost, either by allowing us to generate more energy in combat, or give us some sort of trait that allows us to actually gain energy while having upkeep skill on to lower the energy upkeep cost.
I use currently mace+axe and hammer as offhand for the range, when i need it. i use Malyx and Dwarf legends. I use Dwarf mainly for second free heal, self swiftness because of the lightning combo.. and sometimes dwarf elite. I never use the “swirling hammers” because the upkeep cost is not worth the result, and i sometimes use Taunt, even if it has 50 energy cost. I “legend dance” quite often, mainly for free 50 energy refill, since the skills drain way too much and it regens way too slow.
Thus preventing the Revenant to actually use most of his skills if he actually wants to attack and heal efficiently – like in the case or Mordremoth mobs in the Beta map.
I tried Shiro legend, and for the supposed “pure DD/assassin” legend, it seriously lacks in damage in comparison to other classes. Even with the trait for more dmg after HP threshold, my condition specced revenant simply does more damage.
Not talking the damage other classes in their “Pure damage” spec can dish out, sometimes with more control as well

Dual swords are interesting and nice addition, and being supposedly “Shiro Legend” weapons of choice, it gives simply not enough damage for the duration. Even with “Impossible Odds” toggled on, and 20 stacks of vulnerability on the target +10 stacks of might beforehand, and focusing Unrelenting Assault on a single target.
Ventari legend feels optional, i would use it mainly in dungeon/fractals content, for the heals and for the projectile block, + the nice support, and i haven’t grown used to using Ventari’s tablet yet.
