Make the skills of Weapons good, so that the cost is justified. Or get rid of them.

The expensive skills are the good skills in part because of their lower cooldown. Drop the hammer is an example of a skill that would probably have double the recharge on any other class.

What? Drop the hammer is one of the worst skills ingame. Many classes have stronger skills right now with the same or even lower cd. Compare PS to Electro-whirl. Which one you would choose? Cus i know the answer already.

Are you for real? Drop the Hammer is probably the best ranged spike setup skill ingame.
And I guarantee every scrapper in game would choose phase smash over electro-whirl.

I run hammer rev every day. yes both skills are good. sorry you havnt had any success with them.

Yeh.. wvw cor trains are exciting. Now if hammer was only viable vs any decent player. But i guess you backed off anyway and went full defensive so hf m8.

Hammer isn’t a dueling weapon. If you try to 1v1 against dueling builds out in a nice flat open area you are doing it wrong. Even saying that I will roam on hammer rev because it kills many people who simply view it as another bearbow. That phase smash carries pretty hard. A sneaky drop the hammer will end a fight just as fast.

Hammer is mediocre at PvE, PvP and roaming. Works in zergs vs sleeping players, but that doesn’t make Drop the Hammer “one of te best ranged spike setup in the game”.

Right a 1200 range ground targeted 5 targets 240 radius 2sec kd 5k dmg strike is so not good for a spike setup. It works anywhere in wvw so long as you put the effort into landing it and not just pressing button and hoping for the best.

So no, that hugely telegraphed attack with a 1.3/4s cast doesn’t seems to me the cream in zerg fishing.

So no, that hugely telegraphed attack with a 1.3/4s cast doesn’t seems to me the cream in zerg fishing.

Necro doesn’t put a damage packet of 20k+ in 3sec every 15sec. And ya no one ever sees a pile of marks on the ground but they always see a translucent grey hammer that doesn’t put down a red circle. I’m telling you that I’ve hit every walk of life with drop the hammer just by how I use it. I imagine its the same with necro marks, you don’t just lay a pile randomly and hope they step on them.

Hammer is a trash and being honest rev has no place in wvw due to lack of stability and condi removal. Hes nothing else but CoR bot and even then there are better options. Id pick up staff ele over hammer rev anyday anytime. Ridiculous aoe damage, support (waterfields, group condi removal). Literally everything. You only kitten yourself by equipping hammer. Its a weapon that needs overhaul.

Nobody would want skills from hammer and its clear as day that rev right now is at huge imbalance due to energy cost when comparing skills to other classes like mentioned engi. Scrapper hammer is like a improved s/s for rev, literally the only thing sword does better is evade frame for whole duration in UA while engi can be hit between leaps but at what cost? Split damage, buggy, breaks on stealth, trigger confusion 7 times, goes on full cd when interrupted (easy to do cus 0 stab), worse single target damage (1212 base+3.0 vs 1045+2,85) and 15 energy cost.

Now someone explain me how energy cost is justiced on wep skills? Its not.

Except for warrior, who has incredibly low cooldowns on all their weaponskills.

Or thief, who’s also the same.

Alot of warrior weapon skills are mediocre.

lololololol, show me one mediocre mainhand sword, greatsword, or longbow warrior skill.

OMG this! Forget about cutting cd’s, cutting energy cost per skill just let us be able to generate energy with auto attacks.

i disagree look at engineer hammer skills Cooldowns are still really short and are super strong probably one of the strongest weapons in game outside of 5v5 pvp of course. they have huge base damage plus toughness—→ power trait paired with utility on each and every skill from vuln stacking to blocking to projectile reflection to might stacking its an amazingly powerful weapon and the cooldowns arent much higher than revenant.
