Overall rev is a good in all profession. it fits the meta and if the meta changes revenant can morph into something else.
revenants weak points is the lack of stability and the slow skills whats roots you in place or somehow differently limit your movement and the lack of real invulnerability

stances: dwarf should be THE wvw stance, but it doesnt really work. the heal is ok, but the other skills are… the road is nothing. 1 stability worth nothing. and you can just walk front of your road and gain 0 stability. forced engagement is a single target skill, it should be aoe. vengeful hammers cancel in every second. elite is a good skill if you just read it, but its slow, short and expensive. in melee train you need instant protection and mostly the problem is not the damage, but the cc what holds you in red circles.

Shiro: maybe an excellent 1v1 skill, but nothing life changing in wvw

Centaur: slow and clumsy and only heal

Demon: i think the best non-elite stance. the new meta is very condition heavy. the food nerf and the lack of warriors and guas (because they are not ranged and now days the more rangeds mean more wins and lootbags). the heal will heal you more after the more condi you have. and also you can clear your mates and give resistance. in my opinion the 1 condi pull is very low but its more as nothing. Banish enchantment is a good commander focus skill but i think it should be a non targetable skill to be more useful. Unyielding anguish is my favorite skill. a leap+melee well. Commander calls a well bomb and you leap on him and slow everybody with a pulsing chill field. The elite skill is a good combo with herald. Hardening persistence and the +10% bonus give you ~500 armor and a few K health and damage for a short time

Dragon: F2, press buttons what you need while stacking so you build up buffs and release when in fight while change to your other stance.

Weapons:
Hammer is a must have. in this meta you need ranged aoe and you have nothing else to fulfill this. Hammer is a slow, clumsy weapon with a lot of flaw. it works only on totally flat terrain what we dont have.

Staff: little heal, little damage

sword mh: good, but unrelenting assault should be an aoe skill, not a targeted one.
shield: the only one offhand what worth in wvw. invulnerability (you are rooted!) and a little prot with a little heal. better as the staff

Traits: if you build right you can build up a lot of bonus damage and a solid reduction. Corruption is not really a wvw trait, salvation is a pure heal thing and works with staff+centaur whats are not realy shine nowdays. devastation and invocation for damage (i prefer the invocation, because you can keep furry up but you wont always use swords and hit low health targets or targets with vulnerability) and retribution for defense.
herald is a must have. damage, boons, defense
