Hidden Killer trait bugged?

After the new patch saw that Critical strikes (XII) trait “hidden killer” is bugged. Many times my backstab failed the critical when done while in stealth. Trait that should let you do 100% critical dmg chances when attacking while in stealth.

An official response for that matter is needed,but uhm….
PS:I believe that not even pre-patch that trait was working as “intented”(as written at least)
