Every D/P build I have found on the forum had dramatically different traits and gear sets which makes me wonder why is that and what is the most effective set up for WvW?

By the way can you solo roam? Solo camps?

To solo camps, condition builds(death blossom, caltrops, …) or sword builds(well, it got multihit ability) usually got the edge.
D/P is more pvp and burst oriented.
I don’t say, it’s impossible, it’s just a bit slower than what other builds could achieve.

On the other hand, depending on your gear and spec, just break out your short bow and kill everything

Nice question, I would also like some answers as I’m new to D/P. I’m running full berserker with 10 30 30 0 0 and it’s fun to play, but I feel a little squishy. I still have to learn how to play that set good enough, but as Cempa said, there are a ton of builds on this forum and they are very different from each other, so in the end I’m a little lost.

Which gear/spec would allow for SB use like you said?

This build can roam solo and solo camps can kill parties, escape from zergs. But of course there are still pros that I can’t defeat, so this build needs more of your time to master it. goodluck

You can replace the orbs with divinity, replace the valkyrie with soldier, and replace all of the trinkets with ascended trinkets that are primarily berseker and berserker/valkyrie.

All you need, anything else is a waste of time. You can also replace the 10 points in acro with 10 points in DA for mug.
