Crappy range on venom share makes it pretty useless. Not to mention doing these crazy support builds are pointless since 99% of the PvE content in this game is faceroll (which means the only thing that matters is how fast you get it done, no one even contemplates “oh we might not be able to beat this”). Why do you think zerker warriors are the most desired for dungeon groups?

just get out you daggers and do “real” dps and use sb for aoe. everything else is just bad.

I dont see it as a support build, more like : If 30 shadow arts and venom share makes our group do as much damage as if i had 30 in critical strikes instead of (15 like I do) then there is no need to respec for dungeons and thats makes me happy.. Its not like I would run venom share anywhere else but in a dungeon, I like 30 shadow arts for wvw and soloing.

Now if it does equal out Id like to know.

PS. Never heard of molotov, if its not a thief specifik thing then i wouldnt put it in the calculation. DS

1. Yes it does. Venom Share + thief guild used to be one of the fastest way ever to kill buildings even, before them made those immune to lifesteal effects.

1. Thank you for reminding me, I forgot to include it’s life steal damage, and yes it does.
2. 4000 dps is very realistic number for a condition based build, that being said I have listed the Positive DPS modifiers that will make the DPS number appear higher then it actually is, I always try to balance them out with twice as many negative DPS modifiers though.

3. My xls was terrible it was 5am, I cleaned it up.
4. I am always a student, but also a teacher. If you have information to share, then share it.

how did you get 8ticks of bleed for vital shot, and 40ticks for sneak attack (even though you labeled it unload in spreadsheet and p/d doesn’t have that ability)

rune of affliction+ krait gives 30% bleed duration increase
sigil of agony gives 10%
20pts in DA trait gives 20%
so total bleed duration increase is 60%, but tick work at full second increment so a vital shot should only yield 6ticks. Did you consume food to get 100% duration for 8ticks?

I see, that data was not provided in your original post. If you are redoing your calculation (noticed you deleted your original post), should probably provide a google doc spreadsheet link so people who want to view your formula calculation can easily verify.
