My first character I rolled was a warrior, i thought i’d try something different since in every single MMO released since 2004 i’ve done a rogue character.

I got my warrior to level 30 and honestly, i got tired of killing everything with 2 buttons in <3 seconds. Talk about boring. I’ve been stalking these forums long enough and I’ve decided to make a thief. They are just tookittenfun, granted im only level 4. I can only hope it gets more fun.

Playing smart has always appealed to me, which seems like that is something this class does, especially in PvP (picking battles, etc). So what is the general consensus on leveling weapons and condition/power gear? I’ve seen a lot of posts about D/P but not too much about D/D? Im about to try D/D after i submit this and see how it is compared to D/P i’ve been playing since the start.

Anywho, glad to be back playing what i love most.

D/D is great, the whole thief class is a blast.

For general leveling I would choose mainly precision power and vitality, once you get to around 40-50% Crit rating IMO anything above is a waste of stat points. I chose mostly power and vitality accessories with precision and power weapons and armor. Works well for me so far, although my jewel crafting has kept me stacked on accessories so I am a little over on vitality right now haha.

Condition damage can be viable as well and even though I don’t have many points put into condition damage I always try to keep a poison and at least if not more a 3 stack of bleeds on the target with blossoming death.
