Based on actions from devs for past few years i assume it will be some glorious shiney spec looking amazing on paper, then 1 day before xpac it gets nerfed to the ground…. and half of it won’t be even implemented despite what is written in patch notes.

The real and useful prayer would be: please make it so devs forget about this class because every time they touch it it just gets worse and worse. Not to mention all the lies from their side.

i like seeing the idiots posting " defs getting staff because rifles doesn’t fit the sneaky sneaky thief persona " um, do you forget that the elite specializations almost completely change the class when you run it, some people are beyond help

and why do you want STAFF, we need a ranged weapon, and pistol/pistol is awful, it don’t matter if we have gap closers, thief needs a high range weapon :I

It’ll be rifle with ricochet and damage buffs for ranged weapons.

It’ll then include zero survival traits and only be useful to kitten people off resulting in a phenomenal increase in nerf thief QQ

Or staff which won’t really do much for the profession. But hey, we look like monks/ninjas. Maybe the traitline will be monky and be super passive. Thieves hardly have any good passives right?

Oh wait i know, it will be fighting gloves that cause huge middle finger flash on your screen constantly so we get reminded what devs think of us.

May the devs get some brain and give us back Feline Grace… just not on dodge, but if an actual dodge (not sword #3 for example) makes you evade something

“Umbasa” refers to “Amen” in Demon souls game cultists prayer.

I hope everyone is having fun reading this. that one thief who raged about people who wish for the staff lol.

If you don’t know what umbasa means, it’s the equivalent of Amen in the Demon Soul Series.

and the fighting glove one was also good lol.

On a serious note, I feel like if we get a sneak peak on a druid’s trait line (the Druid is the Ranger’s specialization class), we’ll be able to gauge even more precisely what we will get.

I would be surprised if Druid doesn’t get some sort of sniper ability since the class will be plant/bio based.

If my guessing are correct:

1. Anywhere you walk could be used as a weapon especially witht he help of the Druid’s spirit.
2. The dev cannot make the druid completely drift of its original range-based class. Dragonhunter still remained a guardian, and Reaper still remained a necro.

but with Faith, we can overcome it all my brothers.
