I have been experimenting with scholar vs might stacking, and to be honest, it’s hard to find might stacking all that better. You can increase the duration of might by a good amount, but you can’t generate new stacks of might (assuming you have already popped all your signets for max might stacks) without getting hit. Being a zerk, it’s hard enough to stay alive already. Actively trying to get hit is even more annoying. With this disadvantage in mind, I am unable to understand why people prefer to use might stacking over scholar.

Because after you take one hit the whole 6th bonus of Scholar Runes is gone for good?

Unless you are talking about PvE, overall Strength>Scholar.

You stack might through SA 25, power of inertia, and a strength sigil. Signets can just give you a burst of might
