What nerf? Did I miss something?

Regardless, Heartseeker build was weak and fragile and this “nerf” that people are talking about doesn’t affect my Thief much.

Main: Thief
Alts: Warrior, Necromancer, Mesmer, Elementalist (bunker)

@ everyone responding to OP
can you guys seriously not sense the overwhelming presence of sarcasm in his post?
His point is that HS spam is not doing as much damage as everyone is claiming “OP”. Not to mention that people facing against HS spam are terrible at avoiding said HS spam.

I was wondering…. But you can never be to sure these days 8|

sorry but doing this 50 times was a waste… you are forgetting two incredibly important factors

1) its a team game. you should work as a team to reduce the effectiveness of the enemy team’s priority targets (such as a thief who is killing you all because you dont dodge)

2) the game mechanics are designed so you can mitigate crazy amounts of damage by having a brain. ONE SINGLE BLIND FIELD = HS thief nullified. i dont know which classes have this, but its just one way to counter the HS spam. with dodges you can avoid 2 HS no matter your class, and you probably have various blinds and immobilizes to add to that

imo the HS build is one of the weaker thief builds against clever players :<

If heartseeker and death blossom spam are the only two strategies you know how to use… well maybe it’s time you considered playing a more child-friendly game. I hear Sims3 is pretty fun.

the ONLY other damage move a thief has with that weapon set is backstab

and blossom only works with a stat spread that makes heartseeker and backstab worthless

lets be clear

power/crit builds use heartseeker/backstab, they only use blossom as a last ditch evade

condition uses blossom almost to exclusion of everything else.

please understand the thief class before you open you mouth

It’s just me or the numbers the OP brought up are unimaginably off? I do like 3x those numbers on those same npcs… Heck, the heavy golem takes up to 4k from my HS when 50%- and he has like 3x the armor of the elementalist npc

Thieves aren’t strictly meant to have cool downs like other classes, it kind of the point of initiative.
You, as well as other people on this thread are missing the point of the OP, which is blatant sarcasm and most likely intended to be funny.
People will always find something to blame that isn’t their own ability so complaints and nerfs are always likely to be made, deal with it.
