So I’m fast approaching Level 80, when I get there I want to make sure I don’t waste any money/karma/tokens/whatever on crappy gear. I’m running with Minion’s D/D DB condition build at the moment, but I’ll most likely swap over to his D/D high powered crit build once I hit 80. What’s some good Level 80 starter gear, and where can I get it?

honestly, masterwork and rare gear from the trading post is a cheap and easy way to get started, if you can’t make your own. and with a build that glassy, you may as well go full berserkers.

Crafting exotics is rather easy – the only expensive component that requires some farming (for gold to buy, or rare 80 items to salvage) is Ectoplasm, which cost between 25 to 30 silvers nowadays. Leveling leatherworks is easy and you should get your exotics in no time.

Yah just make your own exotics, unless you got a crew to run dungeons with, pugs here, just like in any other MMO always whine about bringing a thief.

Or you can join my guild. Dungeons are the best to get 80 exotics hands down if you don’t have money. You get exp/money/karma/ and badges (to use on the gears).
