Berserker stance in pvp needs to be nerfed
to be fair, endure pain should ignore condition damage.

It’s fine for a couple reasons:
- doesn’t remove previously applied condis
- not a stun break
- 8s is not that long. I mean it’s basically 2 dodges and a bit. If you get stunned, I hope you bring a stun breaker.
- 60s cd

Berserker stance alone is not enough to bring a tanky condition build down unless we go more glassy.

It’s not about necros, it’s about condition builds. I prefer to use condition build on my every alt.(warrior, thief etc.) since I hate direct damage skills. I’ve given necro example bcos necros are mostly condition oriented and don’t have enough direct damage or mobility to avoid condi-invulnerability. I can kite a warrior with a thief/mesmer till the buff disappears, but you can’t do this with a condi necro.(necro doesn’t have leap or 1200 range movement skills) I don’t want any build to be op, I just want the balance. ofc i can change to power build to avoid invulnerability, but i prefer dot damage style and don’t want to change my build just for the new fashion. ppl opened so much threads in necro forum about op conditions, it’s ok necro is nerfed. But it’s time for warrior invulnerability now. Maybe they can make fear cc to pass through this buff to avoid an undead warrior.

sounds fine if it removes all conditions applied on us, or you could just stop playing and messing up for your whole team

I still don’t understand why people are having such a cry about warriors. If it’s not zerker stance and conditions it’s the mace/hammer stuns. I can only imagine it being that warriors were 90% free kills before and now they can actually kill people.

i just want anet to do the same to warriors and thieves. open a qq thread and bam! nerfed. this is how things work in gw2.
You’ve got a twisted idea of how Anet applies it’s balance changes. If they swung the nerf hammer every time a QQ thread was created we’d all be little grey blobs running around with only a N0. 1 Combo ability comprised of “Splat” “Squish” and “Sploosh”, applying vulnerability with each hit but doing no damage.
So yeah noone crying about what killed them any more right?
Except there’d be a bug and someone’s “Sploosh” …. let’s call it an attack, applied 2 stacks of vulnerability instead of 1 and there’d be rivers of tears all over again.
As to what actually happens, they watch the meta and if one element is overplayed because of any number of reasons they introduce a counter. As it stands this is currently warriors, the fact that the meta refuses to shift from what is easy to play is hardly our fault. Especially since the hard counters don’t have to be added in another balance patch, people just refuse to play them because driveby condition specs are easier to play.

It’s called berserker stance for a reason. It’s the time in which the warrior goes man mode on your face.
It’s on a 60 second cooldown, so it HAS to be used properly. If he uses it but you manage to prevent him from getting that early lead in the fight, he’s down one very expensive utility skill.
Still, I can see it being nerfed because of QQs the entire world over. Brainless tanky condi bandwagon lost a wheel and is whining for oil.

You realize that this is less effective vs conditions than endure pain is vs direct damage, yes? 4s of total invul and stunbreak, vs 8s of -100% base duration to incoming conditions (nothing done to existing ones) and some adrenaline. Traited you can even get endure pain twice in a row – once from the skill and once when your health hits 25%, on a 60s cooldown each.
Somehow direct damage builds have managed to live with this.

So? it’s only for 8 seconds on a 60 second cool down. You aren’t expected to blindly dps your target 24/7 , right? There’s retaliation as a counter to direct damage along with, protection and stability to counter cc.
By your logic:
-Stability should be nerfed because we can’t cc during it
-Save your self guardian shout should be nerfed because it puts a guardian in god mod for 10 seconds ..not everyone has corrupt boon..
-Moa form should be nerfed because once it lands-and it lands easily- there is absolutely no counter to it
-Death shroud form should be nerfed because it is an extra health bar every few seconds and protects against direct damage There is no way of stopping a necro from going into DS as it can be used while stunned. That should not be allowed, right?
-Spectral wall should be nerfed because it is AOE fear for 5 seconds unlimited number of times for unlimited targets
I’ve never seen a good necro lose to a warrior in spvp. I suggest you check the necro forums and ask for tips instead of complaining on the worst pvp class forum.

The solution is simple. When the warrior has berserker stance up, simply put protection on yourself, kite him with spectral walk until the duration is over, and then proceed to gently roll your face on the keyboard to kill him with condition spam.
Just walk away. It’s that simple. Nothing is forcing you to stand there and take damage while berserker stance is up. Break the stun, and walk away until the stance is gone.

Try posting in Spvp section. Your commenting on pvp dynamics. However no one is really gonna care your necro got stomped when for 8-10 seconds you couldn’t spam large AoE conditions on a warrior. The thing your missing is that they have also traited to regen on chill etc and that they use their burst skill with cleansing ire on 3 bars of adren. They have also specc’ed for burst skills to cost less. Not to mention melandru runes are hot property with warriors currently.That is why they’re cleansing you, because they have specc’ed for you. It is not berserker stance entirely. (Which helps build adren faster for cleansing ire.) necro is still OP while condition damage all comes from one trait tree and they can then trait heavily into toughness/power or toughness/vit..not to mention spectral armours now work while under death shroud and that death shroud has become a true second health bar.
We’ll give up berserker stance, if you give up 40% death shroud and runes of undead…sound fair?
