Warriors needs to be impressive, strong, fierce.
Doesn’t fit with vegetables (sylvaris) or those sort of tiny excited yoda (asura).

Human can’t stand in a fight with true power and agressivity of Norn and Charrs (talking about warrior, not guardian. Norns and humans seems to be awesome guardians).

Charrs don’t even need weapon to eviscerate someone

as a human main warrior with asura and norn warrior and played as a charr warrior during fractal

ill tell you that best race for warrior are asura norn sylvari(sylvari for its amazing design bad kitten looking and their T3) or charr if you like animals. playing as a medium size human is just frustrating and feels weak.

asura for amazing bad kitten looking powerful fast paced movements, norn and charr obviously for their huge body and swinging huge swords.

Kodan look best imo. If we are looking at non-playable races too.

I would throw my vote for charrs.
Charrs are obviously for being warriors

Charr t3 is win. Best looking set of armor ingame.

Human or Thin/Normal Norn. Hate over-the-top norns with max body width and kitten. Deforms the armor model, especially shoulderplates which tend to look warped.

And charr are just ugly, whatever they wear. Except medium armor hats, which makes them look like over-sized cats with miniature toy-hats. Soooo ridiculous.

Though best animation goes to Asura. Too bad that chest, legs and boots is either totally wrecked or unnoticable on them, though.

If you want to play a furry with silly looking finger-claws and horrible clipping, go with a Charr.

If you want to play an awesome viking giant, go Norn.

I have a human warrior. Tier 3 cultural mixed with Arah gear looks pretty nice.

I love my Norn warrior in cultural tier 1 gear. He really channels that big hulking barbarian archetype that defines the class.

Best is a matter of opinion. I just finished a Sylvari warrior and she may not look intimating like a charr but i think she looks good kinda drowish. Something is making uploads take forever so i wont do any more but i put 2 in the warrior pic thread and 3 in the Sylvari pic thread if anyone is curious.

Lets be frank here. No matter which race you think looks best or has the best suited attributes to warrior Human will always win out on best race. Purely because all the armor in the game has been designed with them in mind save for Cultural, and thus will always suit human proportions best from a design point of view.

That being said, Charr have in my opinion one of the best Tier 3 cultural heavies in the game.

Though I kind of like them all, Norn are like hulking barbarians, Charr are like ravenous beasts, Humans are technical and fast, Sylvari are different and original and Asurans are agile and hard to hit.

Personally? I started out with a Charr Warrior which I still love to death but I fell far more in love with Human armor. And so, here is my warrior (Will have Twilight very soon hopefully!):

Looking at cultural armors (male olny, females are a joke):

Asura – if anything, they are guardians

Sylvari – armors seems to be made for warriors, howered sylvari body is just laughable, i cannot imagine one as warrior with their “muscles”

Human – armors are made for guardians, like sylvari their body is fragile

Norm – t1 and 2 are made for warriors, howered t3 seems to be made with guardians in mind. They are big bad guys u don’t want to meet on street. Norms are hunters.

Charr – t1 is made for guardians, t2 seems to be 50/50, t3 is made for warriors. Unlike other races, charrs are born to fight, and war is what they life for.

I dunno, man, I killed tens of thousands of Charr on my GW1 character

Humans! I’m still experimenting with different pieces of armor and wasting countless transmutation stones, but im hoping to eventually get her to look somewhat like this. I’d love it if they eventually added in gigantic wings like that as a back item skin.
