Guild Wars 2

Took a break playing my warrior a couple of months ago due to burnout (got to rank 370 in wvw). Played my thief and Mez for a while. Back on my warrior now.

Curious to see what you guys are running these days that I may have not tried. A/S + GS? Hambow? lb + gs? ss + lb condi? I’ve run most of these builds but i really enjoy gs + a/s for great mobility and awesome burst. My traits are 30-10-0-0-30, full ascended zerker + cavalier.

Most common power builds are 0/0/30/10/30 using hammer/GS, bow/GS, axe+Sh/GS, sw+Sh/GS. Condi is 0/30/20/0/20 with dire or 0/10/30/30/0 with apothecary and shouts.

Power build gear should be zerker weapons/trinkets and cavalier armor with lyssa runes.

Thats my favorite of the viable builds. Tons of CC and burst, along with tons of mobility to escape if things get out of hand. A lot of it is about setting up combos for your longer, more damaging attacks (Backbreaker, 100b, etc)

0/0/30/10/30 is pretty good for a variety of weapons. You can start there and adjust accordingly. But 20 in defense is always mandatory for cleansing ire.

i found that cleansing ire is best suited for hammer or longbow, its a bit harder on single target weapons like the axe i like to use. Thanks for the build i’ve played something similar but 0-10-30-10-20 back when unsuspecting foe was in the first tier.

I wanted to do something different been playing this for the past couple days. Its been working well for me.
