Hello !
I am working on a full rework/change for the warrior, I’ll give some of my thought, still I need help from you guys to make things more balance etc…

My point :
- to give useless skills a chance to be used
- upgrade core weapons
- nerf some strong berserker primal burst
- make the warrior feels more “crushing”
- nerf passive defense, focus on active defense
- PS damage around 20k for both Condi and Power so you choose the build for a specific encounter and not because it’s stronger
- DPS spec ! (around 30k) for Condi and Power (2 axes!)

Physical skills!
Here is my banners rework (again, not saying Warrior is bad but hey why not update it)
Btw, all my numbers need to be tuned.

First :
Banner of Tactic is now a heal skill.
All others stay in utility/Elite
Adjust cooldown so you can use 1 banner all the time with the trait

Utility banners :
-can still be used by everyone
-keep their +170bonus buff
-if you cast the banner on yourself it appears in your hands directly
-you can pick up the banner on the floor while moving
-if you have a 2H weapon it replaces this weapon with skill 1,2,3,4 and 5
-if you have 2 1H weapons, it replaces the left weapon with skill 4 and 5 (for example you can hit with an axe while holding a banner
-you can drop the banner with skill5 or swap weapon

1 Stab : Increase damage (like any other power weapon) and add mele staff animation
2 Strenght : whirling axe animation, deal tons of damage, cd 30sec
2 Discipline : hit your foe and give fury to allies for 6sec, cd 15sec
2 Defense : warrior hammer 5 animation, stun enemies (up to 3) for 2sec, cd 20sec
3 Inspire : give superspeed to allies for 5sec, cd 40sec
4 Sprint : Distance increased to 900
5 Plant standard : now an AoE skillshot, can be activated while moving, 900 range, knockback enemies in area, 250 radius, cooldown increased to 25sec

Heal banner :
Keep the same options (and his buff) as utility banners but can only be used by the owner
1 : mele staff animation, increase the damage, apply regeneration for 1sec every 3 hits
2 : shout : immobilize for 2sec every foes attacking your allies, cd 40sec
3 : shout : give 5sec resistance to allies, cd 60sec
4 : cure conditions to allies (cripple, chill, immo), cd 15sec
5 : stance : for 5sec, every successfull attack heal allies for 300health, cd 30sec

Traits :
updated :
-Tactics line!

EDIT post update : we won’t see any upcoming changes for banners after the 10 targets upgrade but I still want my new healing banner skill !

I do think banners need some love, especially with traits.

I like your idea of keeping some weapon skills up, like 1-3 for MH, but id say do it for both 1 & 2 handed weapons, but give it a f1 replacement skill.

I also like your idea for half the buff if holding it and using it.

i think most important change would be to just give banners what they already had:

increased range and reduced cooldown

i remember the developer even mentioned in preview video that that must have been an oversight and he is sure it will be included when the patch hits….
yeh but nothing happened

and suddenly we had much smaller banner radius and no cooldownreduction for banners anymore
