Just make sure to get adrenal health and you can afford damage trades, despite loosing them, due to the superior regen.

Another thing to keep in mind is that revs (invo) tend to have 2 consecutive stunbreaks – legend swap + the roll/blind facet (if you wait until right after they swap legend they only have 1, possibly 2 if it’s shiro they swapped to). If you play with taunt, (and axe shield) you’ve 3 cc’s. Stun → stunbreak – stun → stunbreak → stun → rip? Or if they as I said just swapped to (preferably glint) they’ve only 1 stunbreak and only 2 cc’s will do. Stun → stunbreak → stun → rip?

Assuming cc chain is not opportune, use taunt to interupt unrelenting assault, also best way to START the cc chain if it is indeed opportune.
Never double dodge unrelenting assault unless it’ll kill you.

I use a high armor power war with stomp + Bull’s Charge on the toolbar.
Its a timing thing. I do things like when i see him coming i guess when he will impact an start 100 blades to let him rush in for a damage exchange that hurts him more.
Next i have taunt on beserk traited. This one can be so much fun breaking off whatever he does leaving him open to my next hit (mostly arch divider).
So i might to somethign like: Berserk + Taunt, arch divider (i am strength so i get +20% damage after arch divider), bull rush if he´s down 100 balde (i am hasted), if he breaks head butt. No dodge here is often a kill..
The taunt is usually devasting. Killed a thief that jumped me two days ago. Had 100% Adrenaline from a just finished fight. Berserk for taunt, 7k arch divider – 10k follow up strike and done. He did´t survive the taunt second …
Most run stability trait on zerk but i like the taunt more. It´s this small extra CC and damage that lets you hit realy hard and more reliable. If i get stunned i usualy react with a stomp and look what happens. (Remember stomp also gives stability). Normal after a stomp is rush if available.

Build adrenalin is important as usual. I usually run cleansing ire + berserkers stance which speeds that up but i think this is quite common. Aginst revenants hitign hard combos endure pain is realy good so it´s hard to decide what to use here there are multiple options for utilities which all make sense.

So yeah i still have major problems with shiro/glint Revenants as a power warrior.
I wonder if its even possible to deal with them?

Here are my problems:

GS/Rifle (to kite)
When Rev uses hammer they will do more dmg and 50% time they block projectiles
Signet of might works kinda but in the same time they do allot more dmg vs rifle.
So what do i do? i go in and melee with GS.. they swap to sword-sword or sword-shield
(insta dmg when they swap legends) they get perma fury with 100% effect and do ALLOT more dmg vs my GS.
They often UA > Precision strike.. so you dodge dodge them and use whirlwind over them.. after that you are kittened because they go in with Phase traversel and just nuke you down with quickness on.
So what do i do? i run away with rush > swap to rifle #4 great distance..
But they swap hammer and repeat..

GS/axe-shield:
when against sword(shield or sword) + staff Revenant:
They stick to you like 100% of the time.. so its dodge there major burst stuff and hope you do more dmg.. but thats not possible vs them
they break my shield with phase traversal > staff 5 good dmg.
My axe does pretty kitten dmg in close combat compared to there sword.
They have a good blind/evade uptime unlike warrior needs to build adrenaline to gain dmg boost/fury etc in berserker they can do it on demand.

What is worse vs warrior is that:
-endure pain doesnt work vs Enchanted daggers
-UA and precision strike deal TONS of dmg because we dont have pets/clones etc.
-Even speccing full berserker warrior and go in melee they will still deal more dmg.

I know condi counters Revenant but does that mean we have to just let it go and accept that we cant beat revenant on power builds? is that the intension of Anet? a warrior counter?

Does anybody have any tips?

I spend most of my time dueling. Good Revs are hard to take down for sure. The best success as Power Warr I have had is with Mace Shield / Rifle..

Definitly a nice buil and i also thought to try the amulet. But i feel this build totaly depends on endure pain (including the passive). A good revenent might bait it and then destroy you. I won´t feel compftable :.-). But shure it can make high preassure and a quick end. It´s some kind of ups build that kills the reve on one mistake …

No, it doesn’t.

Swap axe for mace to give yourself an extra stun.
Utilities, Signet of Might, Edure Pain, Zerk Stance

Take Arms 2-1-1 for the autoproc signet of might on <50% HP, 50% bonus crit on stunned foes and 100% crit on burst.

Dogged March or Shield master in Defense. Dogged march gives you regen when chilled from precision strike.
Shield master obviously gives you faster recharge on the shield stun and block + might on block which can be very useful when they use UA or SotM (stun them right after then burst). I’d prefer Shield master personally.

Remember to swap weapons to make use of cleansing ire – watch your vuln stacks from their sword autos.

Either take Eternal Champion for stability in zerk mode or Bloody roar for the taunt. I prefer stability, just because there’s so much CC thrown around by HoT classes.

You can feint out their stunbreaks with shield bash and pommel bash, use block vs UA to gain might stacks. Hopefully you’ll have stab from zerk when they use SotM, as soon as that ends and you’re sure they have no stun break easily available (ie, they swapped to glint or just used it) you can go in with either headbutt > arc divider and maybe 100b. If they do still have a stunbreak, you can bait it with Skullgrinder then use Headbutt into arc divider.

When they pop their shield block, use signet of might and smash them with either 100b or a burst. With both the utility and the auto proc you have 12 seconds of unblockable.

As long as you time your 4 CCs and don’t miss your primal bursts, you should do reasonably well. Since you ahve bonus crit chance when the opponent is dazed you want to load your damage into the windows after pommel bash, skull grinder and headbutt. Use Zerk stance to prevent blinds from causing you to miss key CC or burst windows.

Good Revs, you don’t have a chance. If you were condition, you counter them but you’re power so they counter you.

This right here, you shouldn’t be able to beat a rev on a power build.

If you do its because they either messed up or your better then them.

You can win if they stay in range. See the truly good revs will keep you at range. And range kills your dps if you are going axe/sh gs, thus they dictate the fight.

You’re missing the bigger picture. You are being sent divine intervention. The universe is willing you to play revenant. You have to remember that Rytlock dropped warrior for revenant, and he was the only warrior that could use off-hand pistol.

I don’t worry too much about revenants. I run vanilla power rifle with signet of might and signet mastery. I’m not a great warrior, but I was able to make it to legendary this PvP season with this build. A lot of the mechanics of this build come about because of wanting to deal with the endless blocks of the DH. Works nicely against revenants as well. Using diviner’s (which isn’t available in the build editor yet).
