With that Defender rune and new Adrenal health….

(1): +25 Healing
(2): When you block a foe’s attack, gain 1 second of regeneration.
(3): +50 Healing
(4): When you use a heal skill, gain aegis for 5 seconds. (Cooldown: 10s)
(5): +100 Healing
(6): When you block a foe’s attack, heal yourself. (Cooldown: 30s)

You have healing and sustain from-

-Leeching
-Mango pie
-AH
-RR
-Healing Signet
-Defender Rune
-Regen

Been testing and the amount of healing is literally absurd, I was being attacked by 2 thieves and a Mesmer, shield blocked the thief steal skill, and went from like 1k hp to full in seconds with 3 stacks of AH.

Was using Gs Mace/Shield skull crack with defender runes in WvW ever since the defender rune was released waaaaay back. Its the best rune for a warrior by far in my opinion. The sustain is just plain ridiculous.

My armor is still on my toon waiting for WvW to fire up again.

It was the best kept secret until WilsonStorm started using it a few months ago on his stream.

It was also incredibly powerful on my medi guard (pre DH) with the amount of blocks and aegis a guardian has access to.

That’s basically the build Cygnus popularized. The new AH just made it stronger.

Really though, the mace can be swapped out without too much loss if the other weapon is otherwise preferable for some reason.

Also know that Shield Mastery prevents the runes’ healing effect being triggered by projectiles.

yeah when Cygnus posted that and when WilsonStorm started streaming it i knew the game was up. I had fun on it for most of 2015 though when very few people talked or even knew about it. And if they did they didnt speak about it on forums.

Its even stronger now with the new AH.

You can gear full glass and still have good sustain.

i am in a kind of lethargy atm about warrior. are these new builds floating around after HoT substantially better then standard stuff like this?
