Neither condi ranger has any use in PvE nor he is used / viable in top pvp teams.
In contrast to that warrior is used in a lot of PvE records and is also part of top pvp teams.
But obv. condi ranger is more powerfull.

Delete your warrior, leave the warrior forum and never come back.

Many people looking from a point 1v1 not teamfights. And ranger will trash any warrior in a duel (like every other class except necro anyway) and thats a fact.

When you see ppl crying about x build/class they generally complaining about it from a point of 1v1, not teamfight. As for pve im not even sure if warrior is worth picking up in many cases for his banners.

All the broken builds which you dont see in conquest right now due to the nature of this mode where you have to hold points will pop up in stronghold as you dont have to defend nor capture points. Stronghold will define if warrior is in a decent spot. Shoutbow is indeed decent in what hes supposed to do, but will he hold his own in stronghold? Im not sure about that.

Btw you know why top teams have shoutbow over another d/d ele which is superior to war in everything he does? Warbanner. Without it warrior doesnt matter.

No you don’t take warrior over ele only because of his warbanner.You are just repeating what you’ve heard once in the forums. The big advantage of the warrior in comparison to the ele is that the warrior doesn’t have to stand melee for his healing support.

That’s also probably the reason why phanataram said in his stream few days ago , he doubts that the ele will stay top tier.

And the weakness of warrior is that hes susceptible to power bursts. Under heavy direct damage pressure he literally melts in seconds unlike ele which can survive way longer and actually ele can affort to stay in melee due to how tanky he is in reality. In comprasion warrior in current state is olny strong against conditions. If the meta switch to power hes gone. Ele and engi will remain still

And theres no doubt that celestial classes become trash (not just ele) once xpac drop due to revenant with mallyx legend which will be stripping boons like no tomorrow..

New meta will form and in current state i dont see warrior being in meta unless his specialization is really good.

Thats your right to think whatever you want. If you want to follow someone opinion then let it be. None of my business but personally i aint gonna follow opinions of someone else like a brainless monkey unless it turn out to be true, doesnt matter if hes a random dude or top (and btw theres no such thing as top).

I still rebember back at 2013 ppl which been saying that hambow cant counter spirit ranger, some random dude later on said that hambow counter spirits ranger hard and everyone laughed at him. At the end of the day we all know how it ended.

Anyways time will tell once xpac drop. I dont see warrior in current state to be a meta in stronghold as he will be outperformed at every role by other classes unless drastic changes come in. If anything its getting worse. Balance stance is dead. Berserker stance and frenzy will follow balance stance too once they get turned into a boon. The triple stance build will die. The future is not bright, but thats olny my opinion anyway. After all im just olny some random dude, and let it stay this way.

Saying that you only take a warrior over an ele because of his warbanner is a wrong statement,though and just proofes that you didn’t understand the strengths of the shoutbow warrior. With pindown and flurry which is an immobilize on a low cd, he is able to prepare a lot of spikes. Knockdown and immobilize from the elementalist is far away from beeing that good and has also longer cooldowns.
Further, as I mentioned before another BIG advantage of the warrior is that his support even works on range. This is a huge benefit if you have to protect your necromancer / thief / mesmer.

Both has + and – but overall ele is still better than a warrior. As i said anyway time will show if warrior will remain in meta after xpac.

the topic was never about whether the warrior will remain in the meta when the addon comes out in the future.
the discussion was about your statement that a warrior is so much worse than an elementalist and warbanner is the only thing why he’s part of top teams.
And that’s just rubbish. Sometimes the warriors from the top teams don’t even play with warbanner.

Personally i havent seen anyone running shoutbow without warbanner. And from my point of view warrior is taken olny for that ability. I really dont see a point taking warrior over ele unless you want easy mode aka spam shouts off cd. Shoutbow excels olny at teamfights while d/d can take any role in it current form.

I already have explained the advantages of the warrior and ROM is playing shoutbow with SoR or Rampage very often.
