They are not pro they are abusing most broken class in wvw like everyone else.

If u agree with class/build abuse bieng the sole reason these people are better besides everybody else having access to said builds, besides the very same people revealing the same builds they use for everybody else to see on thier vids, besides them interacting with the offical guild wars 2 forums putting a link to thier vids. Besides some of thier members actually participating in pvp and ranking higher where stats are builds and all alike have even more increased chances of bieng exact copies. Then yes u would be wrong. Ofcourse builds matter. But the average joe doesn’t just outnumber 1 v X like u did and thus u should be credited for your skill as well. The argument like ragnarox presented completely devalues the effort and time put in. as if them and players alike not doing 1 v 1’s in pvp was never a factor.

Warrior is an easy class to play, basically. I don’t believe its as facerolling as DH, but it’s easy. I know the same build is always used for warrior. Every warrior you see is always gonna be running the Defence and Discipline trait lines. They’re to good not to take, and Warrior wouldn’t really be much in WvW or PvP without them. Besides the fact that warrior is easy to kill, it can also be easy to kill one. It does seem to carry the player to a high extant then what other classes do, but yes, not every joe can 1 v X. Every class has its weakness, and i’ve probably gone way off topic like usual xD

EDIT: Forgot to add this in the actual video until now. Yes, i do believe that build abuse is the reason that such people are seen as pro’s. This is the first time i’ve played DPS warrior outside of full glass, and i felt carried. Warriors DPS is already fairly high. Even whilst running Maruadar Armour, w/ Durability runes. I had more uptime on might, stab, and resistance. I don’t know why Maruadar Armour is even needed, adding 3k HP to an already high health pool class.

That Vaans fanboi really need to grow up. I remember the time when they abused Rifle 2x dmg bug and after that we often organized Cake chase ended by them leaving this game cause of “boredom” (remember – boredom comes when you abuse something op and after some time you get sick of it). But in reality I dont even respect players who abuse Berserkers now. Pretty much same players who abused cele ele, rifle engie etc etc…

Yes warrior is easy, DH is easy and are classes with a low skill floor that gives u advantages iniatilly but that is where it stops when experience and effort come in. but that is really is. trust me. those people u beat are more often average players or maby even better. it makes no sense for average players to do the 1 v X just because builds. Cake walk doesn’t consist solely of warriors, it has power mesmers, thiefs. Heck zen even has vidieos of zodin still winning fights with core mediguardians. heralds. these pros use all classes. And can prove it in pvp where there is litterally no class/build advantage. heck sindrerer who also plays with cake is currently top eu player.

Even if u played warrior at first. experience and talent also play a factor. the average player u come across is not gonna do what u did and certainly not cake, zen .

They can prove it in pvp. U can litterally look at the pvp leaderboard and see vaanss in top 10 and sindrener on number 1(might be number 2 if metrix wins games)

I just don’t find that one should devalue a clear difference in skill as solely builds or everybody and thier mother would have a roughly very even odds of winning thier duels not counting hard counters.

As for u Ragnarox. U litterally are a hater that added nothing constructive here at all, other then using the most cliche excuse ever done in a competetive game and that is blame the build/class/weapon. to completely and utter ignore all talent, effort and skill, with the same excuse of a build. Even when there is litterally a game-mode where builds+stats are equalized, U still persist in not crediting their well earned skill level. And u tell me to grow up? U are the one who uses the most cliche excuse in gaming history.

I know for a fact that vaans has been playing for Years,Way before hot,and he just knows how to build and play his class ( unlike you ) yet you talk as he only runs it cus its "’op"" now in the eyes of noobs like yourself.Stop kittening crying already cus you do it at every chance you get when a thread opens up about warri,just l2p already and get some tissues.

As to answer your question vaans played warrior for years as caed said and even played it well before adrenal health buff came into play. And no not every newbie can 1v X with warrior or we wouldn’t have so many people crying about other classes on the forums. It doesn’t even make sense. how are u the average or standard player when u yourself constantly win 1 v X? how does this even make sense to say. Heck how in the world aren’t ESL players stomping 1 v X cassually on warrior if it was so OP easily and regularly? Vaanss and everybody else of cake walk and zen earned thier skill level by putting in effort, Some with less or more time invested dependent on their talent, growth rate, skill floor and skill of the class. U can look for the evidence of vaans right in this season. Heck if warrior was op braindead then vaans would be number 1 but he isn’t friggin thief and mesmer are numbers 1 and 2.

Vaans and co are good and deserve to be credited for that.

I never said Vaanss nor anyone else from Cake Walk were actually bad. All i was doing was making a little joke about build carrying, and how jump dodges and weapon stowing makes you win fights. I have no doubt that Vaanss is a really good warrior, cos he is. He knows how to play his class. Even if he was to play a build that wasn’t abused he would still 1vX. Was just making a small joke

They are very good but was humbling seen Hizen beating them with his cheeseranger and seing Vaans losing the Groaucharoo’s quarters in part because refused to play macebow.

By the way. A question about Durability. As much as i love having them (I have a marauder set with Dura runes) i cant help but feel that they are not fully utilized when roaming solo. They are no doubt strong when in a small party because the boons are shared but when solo that sharing is wasted.

Ive had pretty good success running Melandru or Hoelbrak when solo. These two runes coupled with Lemongrass food (like the old days) is still very strong vs all the condi roamers out there. Has anyone else tried different runes for solo/disorganised roaming?

Nah berserkers now are passive bots. This won’t change my oppinion of them.
