Hey there! Finally managed to finish the 2nd part of “the Pineapple Warrior” story. This video will feature an entirely different build than what im used to. It will be a condition and regen/sustain build and I call this the Roaming Regen Warrior build, or short RRW build. This build was inspired by Faux Sheaux’s RRR build (Roaming Regen Ranger). Which was the standard and comeback of the rangers dip 2 (or 3?) patches ago. This build is focused on out-regaining health whilst bleeding people out through conditions. This build will have access to all 4 DoT mechanics currently in the game (Bleed, Burn, Poison, Torment)

To elaborate on the utilities: Beserker Stance is entirely optional, I found myself able to withstand direct damage better than the conditions applied by necros which is the current meta. And since you see alot of necroes nowadays i decided that Beserker Stance would be the better choice in most situations. Dolyak Signet due to Signet Mastery, else i’d take Balanced Stance. And Banner of Tactics. People say this banner is the most useless banner of all 5. I somewhat agree, but like every banner, it is situational. What i do is i summon this banner whenever i roam whenever i can. The swiftness lasts as long as the cooldown which gives me permanent swiftness( well almost, theres a 1 second cast time inbetween where you don’t have swiftness) But the casted 7 second Regen is why i usually have this banner summoned pre-emptively. Because of the Inspiring Banners trait + that casted 7 second regen. I can effectively stack regen up to ~45 seconds. This allows some room for me to have some spare regen. This is helpful for when you have no time to summon your banner again or have to leave the range of the banner.
Instead of focusing on increasing condition damage as my main source of DPS, i decided to go for condition duration. This makes the bleeds on autoattack 16.5 seconds, Torment from Impale 16.5 seconds and the bleeds from Pin Down and Ripose a whopping 24.5 seconds. The bleeds from Flurry also last 4seconds long. All this + the easy access of fire combo fields through Longbow f1, can easily stack up alot of might to increase condition damage on top of the duration which allows for some intense bleed stacking when the opportunity allows it.

I was using a similar build in spvp, only 0/30/20/0/20, using endure pain and signet of stamina along the dolyak, build was a beast in spvp, will try this variation to see how it goes but over all I must admit after the changes to the heals warriors sustain via regeneration went really high and sexy.

I think i’ve resolved it, if not, it is probably blocked by GEMA which restricts germany from watching almost any type of content that has music in it. Try it again, tell me if it worked out If it did not, i think theres a specialized Proxy website for people in germany and they all use this to play music or other videos. Not gonna tell you what to do but, if you’re still interested id say use the proxy

Yeah, it was due to GEMA that I couldn’t watch it at first, seems like you resolved it at least temporarily – let’s hope they don’t come back for more.

The build looks like a lot of fun and the regen is just sick, I’ll definitely try it out later.

Just tried my own version…very similar.

Very hard for someone to kill me….but tough for me to get the kill also. Going to have to slowly tweak it to gain some damage and try and find the sweet spot.

would this work for running dungeons? im still lvling my warr and this one build caught my eye.. was runnin something like this without the regen from banners and was doing allright but that regen is insane xD

Call me an elitist if you want but avoid condition builds entirely if you wish to do Dungeons due to them scaling worse than power builds and condition caps.

Go for a power build with a full berserker mix but if you feel you can’t handle being full zerk add some knight armor.

950 Healing power, as in the stat. I have a build similar to the OP in spvp but havent had the time to build it for WvW yet. Basically you need a way to provide perma regen and nothing beats 30 points in Tactics for banners. Send me a PM if you want it for message me in-game. Thanks for taking the time to watch this guys! This build also works very well in tpvp, it’s where i first created this build and expanded upon it in WvW/PvE side. Currently using the same runes and a Shaman Ammy with a rabid jewel.

I personally don’t zerg much, but in a small manning perspective (both tpvp and 5man roam in wvw) people love the perma uptime on regen and i have every type of stat to their disposal. Usually i use a Banner of Discipline as my grps are direct dmg.

Haha yup, well after looking more closely to the clip, he actually just used a signet, which transfered the 6 torment and 11 stacks of bleed that I actually applied to him, back to me lol. Karma ftw xd.

Hehe glad it helped you answer your question. As for your second question, i believe conditions for pve, strictly speaking about running dungeons, is kind of futile. Conditions do not scale well in Dungeons as most mobs have a huge HP pool. Conditions while roaming around the map completing hearts and alike? Sure why not, i did this myself with my thief by going pistol/dagger and caltrops and it’s very strong.

Oh, no, I usually don’t run a banner at all. I mostly meant it’s similar in that I focus on conditions and regenerating my HP.

Could you swap into melandru and run lemongrass? It should impact the build at all really, but give you greater survivability.
