Warrior must have been epic
So let me get this correct please cause i have a feeling i may be confused. Warrior was so op, this class was so strong, this mighty class was so epic, that they had to nerf its adrenaline when everything (dmg/regen/burst skills) is tied to it?
Also this mighty class had all elite skills so epic, so strong, so monumental that they had to nerf the one which was 99% warriors using so that it reaches epicness of the other elite skills? Ok then i guess i have no more questions then.
Exactly. Enjoy your “warrior”.
On the plus side, at least we’re not “Gods Walking Among Mere Mortals” now. That title now goes to thieves/anything with stealth.

I used to think (build op, pls nerf) like you, but then I took a nerf to the knee.
Hambow warrior in sPVP was so freaking faceroll easy. I main a guardian and i decided to start a warrior 2 days ago. I literally bought a hammer and bow from TP (never fired the bow before my first sPVP match). Specced the Meta Hambow build. Walked into arena and was immediately killing players and lasting way longer than i ever did as my Medi guardian which ive been playing for 2 months now. So yeah, it was kinda OP in pvp.
Dont worry i have my flame kittenant suit on.

That has nothing to do with why Anet just didnt nerf hammer and bow as opposed to the entire class.
Just sayin.
MAN thieves look in a good spot right now

You also have to realize that a big part of why hambow was/is good in sPvP is because of how amazing condi’s in general are. So unless ArenaNet is going to work out balancing those in PvP (which clearly they’re not able to do) they’re going to have a hard time addressing any class that can use them and have ready access to control skills like stuns and knockdowns without completely over nerfing the class for all specs not just the one they intend to address.
Azure, i totally agree on that side. I have no idea why Anet did that. Im sorry if my post may not have been completely on topic. I think Warriors did need a nerf in some way. I mean im a very new player and if as a new war with zero (war) pvp experience i was taking down other players much easier than i could with my guardian (which i have much more pvp exp with), it just shows that warriors (hambow anyway) was just way too OP/forgiving for sPvP.

The signet of rage nerf seems like an even bigger slap in the face than the adrenaline nerf. at least you can change your build to try to work around the adrenaline nerf, but nerf signet of rage, and you’re just kitten out of luck, because the other “elite” skills are such complete garbage.

As a S/D thief I have to respectfully disagree… well, looking at the bright side, we can sit on the nerf bar and have a beer, first one’s on me

Rampage is thoroughly underrated. Granted this skill did not need any form of nerf, it is still completely useable as traits allow a zerk hambow to have increased run speed. The extra 20k hp, extra stab, and a new skill bar full of cc (which as zerker hits upwards of 5k-6k on glass and is aoe) is not to be underestimated.
It is a little OP when you can have 3 regen condition Warriors standing in one place pressing 1 while 5-7 people try to kill you, and fail.

1# of which weapon? LG? is has no cond so I guess its the sword, oh its meele so you have to move to your target on a class without any teleport
If anything condi warriors were least effected by this patch nerf so stop trolling and go QQ some other class

Sure.
Healing Signet is up next on the chopping block.
because most people can’t do more than 360-380 damage per second. Way too hard.
GS #3 and #5 need to be nerfed too. Warriors shouldn’t run away from battle, what kind of nonsense is that.
In fact, just replace warrior class with sandbag. That’s all we want. We want a perpetually visible target to soak up all our damage without being able to hit back.
and we want people to delude themselves into wasting time playing this sandbag to entertain us.

Rampage is still one of the worst elites in the game. I equipped it yesterday, just for fun. Ran into a camp and stacked it. Proceeded to try and kill stuff … nothing died and by the time rampage ran out I was at 1/3 health and everything in the camp was at 1/2 or above.
Clearing a camp without it would have been 2x faster and I would have taken 1/2 the damage.
Yes this is a specific instance where it was terrible, in fact made me far worse, but as a whole the skill just doesn’t work. It will make you tankier, give you some swiftness and stability but everything it can do I can do better out of the rampage form.
It removes your weapon and utility skills. That’s all the more reason why you never need to equip it.
As far as sPvP is concerned, I went back to my unskilled hambow setup for everything else has become garbage. Why did they nerf the class and not hambow ?
I used to have fun with my GS…
