WvW Take 2
I understand the game has been out for a while and just about every spec under the sun has been discussed but I have yet to ‘get into’ warrior though I’m trying to!
Would be great if some could chime in!
I would recommend picking either longbow or rifle.
A secondary set of sword + war horn drastically increases your survivability and overall mobility.
My first attempt at WvW was Rifle+LB but the negative critism regarding the lack of ability to reset fights and no condition removal got me thinking again and here goes take 2:

The criticism was easily addressed and you didn’t have to switch from rifle/long bow. You easily addressed one which is lemongrass+runes.
Yes, the problem is you can’t run away if that is what you meant by resetting a fight. GS might give you a bit of a breather with GS 3 and 5 but even that alone won’t keep some of the classes off your back. You can try it and have your bag open with a sword warhorn ready so as soon as you create a distance with GS, you slot in the sword/warhorn instead of rifle to get away . If you really want to use your 2nd weapon set as a safety net to escape, then sword/warhorn are superior. They are also good for closing the gap with someone trying to teleport away then switching to rifle/longbow etc. The abilities from the horn are more useful for a ranged player in keep a distance as opposed to a GS.
I would stick with the rifle/longbow with good condition removal through food/runes and see how it comes out if you don’t mind picking your fights carefully. Otherwise you might have to sacrifice one for sword/warhorn for escaping. I’ve heard there are good hammer/longbow builds as well but those were kinda boring and did not have an ability to escape.
