Rangers have multiple ways to evade, which can’t be gotten through with “Unblockable” Effects, there evades are much wider and pretty much all over their weapons. Your Greatsword’s Autoattack chain has a built in evade in it that is 1/3 as long as our shields block and the attack also does damage….

They don’t have stun know, but they have evades that can be used every 5 seconds to counter stuns and also easy easy access to poison. One of the most powerful conditions in the game.

Classes are different and have their strengths and weaknesses. Your post is pretty much biased against Warriors, However you must remember this before you post.

Also, spirit builds usually don’t slot stun breaks. It’s harder to evade attacks actively than to pop an oh kitten button like most of the classes in this game. Spirit builds are alot harder than you think regardless of the passive playstyle it represents. Now go back to your duel arena and continue to 1on1 and defend the mace stun atrocity that this game has been plagued with. Like I’ve told many others, when conditions are toned down the class most devastated by it (because we’re forced into condi bunker specs) is rangers so you’ll be able to face roll us in no time.

Right, guess that’s why the warrior forum has the most merged topic in the history of this forum’s existence based on the mace stun build and every class in the game is talking about how badly overpowered it combined with healing signet is, passive and non-passive. 0 warriors on Top Teams run your OP Mace/HB specs. No one cares about the qq of duel heroes. There is no balance issue there.

9 Rangers are in the top teams of GSL, 8 Spirit, I think 1 beast. Most Shortbow but some dual melee. 2 different teams ran dual ranger. This IS a balance issue that needs addressed.

Then why are all the warriors defending it then? Like I said before, the warriors defending it are duel arena dwellers who want to continue to have their 100blades handed to them on a silver platter. It’s ok, they can have their crutches, not my fault they need to stun someone for 4 seconds every 7 seconds to land hits on them and I don’t really care either way. You have a fundamental issue though here, mace is a 1on1 weapon like you said, then why are all of the warriors defending it so hard. Hammer isn’t under attack which is used more in tPvP.

Well I “personally” don’t care about MS/GS. But I do care about Sigil of paralyzation since it has affect on the only viable tPvp build warriors have. If dealing with mace stuns tips Hammer out of competition, I think that would be a huge mistake. I am really glad that Anet promised to watch closely the effect the Sigil change has on warriors.

My idea:
Warrior should have Healing signet changed a bit.

What to change:
Make it so if warrior has high hp the regen ticks low. The lower hp gets the stronger the healing gets. (this allows to use the trait well which gives 20% extra power at less than 50% hp)
Changes:
At over than 75% hp it would tick for half of the current hps
At less than 25% hp it would tick twice as much as the current hps
(or if someone suggests it with better values)
Why this change?

Warrior is ment to get stronger as it fights. Like u start gaining adrenaline and getting more powerful (also if mini trait is picked there is a good healing tick per 3s) so first warrior’s healing would be kinda sucky but the more lower it goes the stronger it gets. You could stay alive even if you are low life and proc from certain traits.

Feel free to argue with me. You learn something every time and it develops your personality.

Adrenal Health isn’t that good if you spend a lot of your adrenaline. It heals even less then the Guardian’s Class Mechanic.

Can someone explain to me this mythical WvW balance and who it should be catered to? I see the suggestion about X is imbalanced in WvW but nobody ever gives a suggestion to accompany it. My guess is because their suggested balance change would cater to their style of play which there are many in WvW.

Warriors are not over the top in WvW. They can just disengage(something they have always been able to do since launch). Before you played a warrior like a thief run in do a few moves run out wait for your cooldowns to come up again(you know when EP was 90 secs). Now you can stay in the fight but suspect to burst damage and poison can make it so you can’t stay in the fight as long as you normally would.

Anyway the thread does have the title sPvP not WvW so I digress.

It is almost the same as healing signet is now. In fact, Troll Unguent may heal for less, but its a lot better then healing signet due to the fact it also heals your pet as well as you.

Just chiming in here to say that this is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read on a message board forum anywhere. In WvW, healing signet is one of the most ridiculous things ever, I’m sorry, but it’s true. An apoc warrior with healing signet literally has the healing ability of Troll Unguent passively up at all times.

the problem is warrior gets so much with so little . For a hero to be tanky he has to build tanky , or to build for dps to do dps . Warrior can build for dps and be tanky and have sustain . That is the problem , there is no trade off . Hence why there is a need to shave

Seriously, I wonder if you think before posting.
Warriors don’t have reliable mechanics to survive easily in a direct fight (stealth, necro morph, free evades on skills [but Whirlwind attack 3/4 sec] etc). We rely heavily on damage and the big base health pool/heavy armor we have, and a few traits/skills that help us to survive. What’s wrong with having something to negate some damage for a few seconds ? Can’t you just watch your ennemy buffs instead of zerging mindlessly like in WvW ?

Unlike Thief we can’t engage a fight and just go :" oh man I’m dying let’s get out of here" and be at 30 miles away with stealth and shortbow.

We don’t have a heavy armor to be squishy you know. If you build toughness you’ll have between 18-20k max HP. Condi specs will get you easily (despite Berserker Stance, seriously it’s easy to counter it. Just cc/kitting.)
If you build your warrior to be tanky you’ll lose a lot of attack power. So there’s of course a trade off. It’s just that you’re raging so much that everything the class have is wrong for you. Chill and start to think before posting and when fighting in PvP.

All this QQ you’re all a shame. Warriors aren’t at the top they’re fine atm.

Adrenalin: Warriors lose their adrenalin, if the burst skill miss. (Generally)

Earthshaker: Change the stun into a daze or generally into 0-80 range = stun; 81-160 range = daze; 161-240 range = blind for 5 secs.

Blocks/Endure Pain : Reduce dmg by 80 (or 90)%, instead of negate it.
Healing signet can then stay like it is.

Nail on the head. I think people want big words to pop up and don’t want to look at a buff bar and want sound cue’s when a important attack is coming.

If you can’t kill a warrior inbetween the time his endure pain and berserkers stance are on cooldown then the 2 problems are you aren’t built with enough damage to kill him or he is built really tanky to not die which means he isn’t built with enough damage to kill you either or stop you from disengaging/stalling. If it is the latter then you both can sit there and fight for 30 minutes until one persons fingers are tired.

If he stalls you to regen it is the same thing anyone would do kite/stall so you can heal again. The combat is more dynamic you don’t sit there and beat each other with a predetermined winner based entirely off of numbers and spreadsheet calculations so you know you are always going to win.

Warrior is fine they will fix the sigil of paralyzation and it will change how mace plays out reducing the damage by alot.

All the OP’s suggestions are to nerf warrior healing in some fashion when they all just received buffs. I’m not following at all I mean is mending OP and Surge? All the warriors healing is broken now?
