Both of these abilities require a essentially a rally to make their effects permanent. This rally can be caused by the little minions necros get after they get someone stomped. This is a very big problem.

Hmm that would explain mist form rezzing too when no one dies. Smack a minion mist form and let the little Jagged Horror die? Quite possible… Next time I see a necro and I die I will test this further.

Are you talking about the jagged horrors from the reanimator trait? If so, Jon Peters said they don’t rally anyone.

I can confirm this too. Playing warior I realized sometimes I would stay up after using vengengance without trait, and then eventually I found it to be if i killed a minion. Not sure if someone can rally form big minions though.

You can occasionally rally off of something from necros, i’ve had it happen before. Not from the re-animator trait necessarily. I’ve had it happen on 1v1, randomly rallied from a vengeance before i had killed the necro (killed a bunch of his pets while he was trying to kite me, so i’m not sure which it was) It doesn’t happen that often though so it might just be one of the random vengeance bugs (vengeance has 2 bugs: 1.) sometimes randomly rally off of it without sweet vengeance trait – very rare. 2.) can die a second time if you die under effect of vengeance – this can even carry over a map load – i’ve died while under vengeance at end of map, map change happens, load in, die again)

My guess is its just the vengeance bug. i don’t rally off necro pets on a consistent basis by any means.

Call me when this game gets fixed…. if it ever does….

I have not seen the little horror give a rally to players in a down state in sometime so i thought they fixed him. I will be back to hating it for giving out free rallies again. I already hated it for other reasons but just adding this one back to the list.

I kinda like that, but only because Necros are themselves very strong in the current Meta and because they have the strongest Insta-Rez in the game. This gives the opposing team a strong counter to that advantage.

I see the Problem with the jagged Horrors though – most Necro-specs need the bigger Marks and there’s no way to get around the Trait for the Jagged Horrors. Maybe make them stronger (much much stronger) and move them up on the Trait-Line?
