Well until a few patches ago you could click report on people to get their names and then harass thieves anyway.

I’m a bit sore about how I only started running into people that play my class really well after that- I’d love to be able to ask them how they’ve got their characters set up to pull off some of those things.

If not for the post about the supply drop stun (I don’t know what it looks like well enough to identify it through waves of knife twirl numbers,) I’d have thought this was somehow staged with a bunch of dummies stacked in place to die for the video.

That’s really weird though, even when you’ve got a commander telling people to be sneaky they usually don’t cluster up THAT close.

They aren’t afk to anyone saying that. They got stunned by a supply drop and immediately hit by several high dps skills. With them all packed together like that, of course its instant death. Though I have to wonder what the hell are they doing just standing there all grouped up.

You didn’t even group stealth in. You just ran up to a group and got lucky that they were AFK. There was nothing in that video that was impressive. It is not hard to damage bomb a group that is standing there mostly afk.

He got lucky that 7 people were ALL afk.

He is less impressive/less skilled for NOT using stealth… and still sneaking up on a group.

Talk about a case of obsessive ego. Good, now go up a tier then cry about zerging again, nobody in this tier besides some players from CD wants to bump up to tier 3. Scoreboard don’t lie, but videos dont either, truth is, those 7-8 didn’t even need those player to be afk, they got stunned by supply crate if you know what that is, but if you don’t ill give the brief dumbed down version for you, basically it drops a supply crate on target location, with turrets, those in the aoe gets stunned. it happened so fast none of them even could react obviously.

We don’t even need to go that far. It’s faster and easier just to walk in the front door, killing everything on the way in.

You should make a video of you taking their keep and then we can update the standings. Right now it’s Ehmry #1 CD #2 and Mag #3. Hopefully Maguuma can do some sick nasty videos with some death metal to increase our skills.

Yeah, i won’t lie, if honestly CD became more organized (not saying they’re not organized just saying it could use work), they would be one hell of a server to compete against, even against TC. One of the guild leaders of EsF already said they field out about 30-40 players per night on map, and tht doesn’t even include the random players and other guilds with him. Fug you also said KH was putting out 20ish per night too i believe or at least this weekend you did, that already equals up to a 60man zerg at night, not even including the other players with him, and now when i think about it, the zerg couldve honestly been 80players total, which is so wtf. EsF is organized, they cap things that need to be done like quaggens, no matter how trivial and dumb it looks its actually really smart and i give them props, i just wish we could field more players to give them a good fight because they obviously didn’t want to pvd like other night crews, which explains why they stayed in Maguuma bl the other night for 6hours trying to cap a garrison, and eventually leaving the bl when they realized it would be impossible to cap the east keep. I’m really glad that finally somebody from CD has openly admited their numbers and has the qualities of a professional guild leader.

I am not mad because you guys have numbers, but failing to acknowledge it and pass it onto the forums saying you guys had only 1/3 or even 1/4 of that number is quite insulting to everyone, how would you guys feel if other players from other servers said they only brought 5man to target objective and they annihilated your group of 25players everyday.

To be fair, a few people from your server constantly insulting us played a part in that. I remember in the past, we often complimented servers that tried to held out against our overwhelming zerg, like TC(back when we stomped them).

There will always be individuals but when a whole entire server (at least all the server forum posters) start insulting, the respect for that server is lost, many don’t care but that just leads to forum wars.

All we have is numbers. I may troll a bit, but our non-guilded people are some of the most frustrating people to try and fight with. They do some really REALLY stupid things, even if the good commanders tell them to do the opposite. It’s one thing to not know the mechanics of the game or best siege placement – everybody starts somewhere. But it is another thing to actively ignore what your commanders tell you and then get pissy when the treb you built within cannon range gets owned before it gets built.

The fact is that most of CD is actually really bad. We have a few really good, organized guilds but our zerglings are the calibre of player that shouldn’t be above tier 5. Our zerglings are the type of people who stand still in a spot without watching their surroundings only to get jumped by a supply drop and a DPS bomb

And yes sometimes we can put out a 60 man zerg at 6 AM. We have a few groups rolling multiple battlegrounds, but eventually they will all converge on 1 BG after the rest are capped and there will be 60 people easy (I even have the screenshots to prove it).

If any of our bg’s don’t have a decent presence from any of the main guilds then that BG will lose every single keep – and quickly.

I think the biggest indication of how “skilled” Maguma is can be seen in this latest attempt to zerg CD back, and failing miserably.

We get criticized for 2 weeks about how bad we are with our “mindless” zerg, but when Maguma has a large zerg they don’t manage to do anything at all with it, other than go from camp to camp dropping siege that gets destroyed 5 minutes later. Any attempt to take something important on the map gets wiped easily by CD’s response teams.

The entire server seems to be made up of “gank” type classes or builds, good for 1v1 or combo ganking out of stealth, but no real ability to WvW… so even when they have a larger group they have no idea how to adjust to that advantage. They just continue to use the same plans they’d have used in a small roaming gank squad.

I think part of the issue is a language problem. We seem to have a large population of players from other countires. Of course this is great for the night crew, but hurts us with organization.

Noble CD in Maguuma Borderlands with 40 people spread across 4 groups, putting up 5 orange swords and the entire map is red. This is I believe a superior tactic used to daze and confuse your enemy, and it’s working.

I know you tried to not bash a server, but you just bashed the server, but ok, agree to disagree, Videos are always edited to fit the parts people like and dislike, would you post a video our your own server getting stomped? also your reaction to the video might be a little too serious. I don’t know how people are taking this video seriously when it’s playing “call me maybe” in the background.

Funny thing about AoN, they constantly switch servers because they can’t stand losing. They began on Ehmry. I wouldn’t regard them as a challenge.

We dont even need to try hard to win this matchup. Everytime my guild wanted to do WvW, we felt no enthusiasm as we saw that we’re already leading by huge margin, we just do WvW for the sake of doing guild WvW event.
I guess T3 will be a good wake-up call for us, so that we can at least experiment with tactics and have more awesome battle, and at least "try"to survive, eventhough we know that our chance is slim.

If you’re saying that they aren’t a challenge because they’ll probably leave if we start losing a lot, then that’s one thing. Otherwise, I don’t get it. But I think they knew what they were getting into when they came here, we’ve only won two matches so far.

Anyone who made it up top to JP while jumping bug was happening should get achievement. Also most people liked the camp fire. I got my first yellow from WvW player, didnt even know they dropped from players.

Yeah, I have gotten a few during the past few weeks of WvW. I was so happy when I got a yellow drop from a Maguuma player. Then cursed them for giving me a L67 yellow. Even in death, they taunt me with low level drops!

I wonder if actual level of the player you kill defines what items actually drop. It should right?
