I’d like to say I have enjoyed this match up somewhat, even though sometimes Ferg is greatly out numbered. I came from Darkhaven kind of temporary and I have a lot to teach yall fergies I have fought against servers such as CD/FA/YB and the very Tactical Maguuma’s, but numbers mean nothing to well placed siege.

Can not do anything without them, need them at all times. If I can hold Ogrewatch for almost 8 hours on reset night against T3-T4 server zergs with 3-9 people that goes to show numbers mean nothing to good strategies. Kaineng is impressive with their numbers for this tier no doubt, but I have seen a lot worse. So ET and Ferg, shake it off, both of you are doing outstanding jobs for this tier. Just short on numbers atm.

Just browsing all the threads and I saw you said this. What you say is very true. Numbers mean absolutely nothing against good siege/strategies.

This, this, this, for the love of all that’s holy THIS. I’ve been on ET for a week now and I’m trying to help…But for some reason no one believes me when I tell them ET CAN beat Kaineng’s zergs. And once you beat them back, they’ll look for a fight elsewhere allowing you the opportunity to build yourself up again. To try and prove my point, I held Cliffside with 2 other people…against a 20+ Zerg from Kaineng. We saw a camp to the North go down so I setup 1 Ballista and 2 ACs. The Ballista was used to take out all the siege as it was being built so that they couldn’t counter our Siege or start their own, the ACs placed to get at build locations and “Group up” spots.
Kaineng Zerg wkittentered after about an hour of fighting. They left in smaller groups and looked like beaten dogs while retreating. Not every fight will end that well, I am fully willing to admit this, but ET people need to not give up hope…you CAN win fights, you will never beat Kaineng in “Points” because you simply don’t have the manpower, but that’s NO reason to sit back and let them steamroll you.
Funny note: Myself and Darxio had fun afterwards teasing a group of 6-10 Kainengs by poisoning them nonstop. :p Neither of us used anything but Poison and Utilities. XD Was soooo funny. Chased them all the way back to Garri before they rallied and slowly pushed the two of us back to Cliff. We debated for about 10 minutes whether to kill the Kainengs with Siege or not…eventually decided we were tired and wanted to sleep anyway.

Basically I saw quite a no of new players in WvWvW lately and been trying to persuade pve players to try out WvWvW .
I told them the more points we have in WvWvW will greatly benefits them in pve too.
But anyway, things will only get better for ET now.

To the Kaineng that were in the battle for Dawn’s Eyrie this evening around 10pm EST…. Good fight to all involved. Hard to hold with limited numbers and no supply for such a long period but we held until finally we lost it due to your persistence. Look forward to more of those in the near future.

They Zerg spirit as normal then decide to camp on the Non-Cap portal leading out of our citadel with a Golem…. really guys? no possible reason to sit there…none. You have proven that you outnumber us… Humiliation is kinda sad… hope when you move up a tier you get treated like you treat us.

Sorry you feel that way . I left just after we had taken that camp so I can’t speak fully for what they did but I don’t believe my guild mate’s were trying to humiliate you . If they built more siege in the camp then fine that is just bad sportsmanship and we deserve your comments, but we had already taken everything and did not know what else to do with our goblem so I guess they just waste it on your gate. ( hope you took it down in the end btw ).
Also most of us are incredibly bored so in wvw so if we are spawn camping you like that it is normally because like then that was where the only action was AKA people to fight. Anyway I admire you guys and hopefully next week we will be gone and you will have some new people to fight against more your server size .
P.s we as kain ( who were on wvw while DR was in our tier ) already Know what it is like to be spawn camped by a zerg plus have siege deliberately placed to stop us for almost 9 weeks. It is only since DR left and we have had transfers that kain has become like this…
