Another week of WvW and a new team on green.

Seeing as 2 of you are new to this tier. I thought it would be a good idea to list the active WvW guild for each server.

I’ll use the Answer section of this thread to keep it updated. Post here or send me PMs if you want your guild added.

Thanks for the kind words in the BP/DR/EB thread, and good luck to you guys too! It’s been a heck of a reset so far … we actually did great out of the gate, but then EB’s large numbers hit our homelands in force and things started turning green alarmingly quick. It’s going to be a hard-fought week, and I’m sure we’ll learn a lot.

Also, I certainly think you guys are more than capable of making it to Tier 5, and I hope you get here! It seems to be like a revolving door where it’s two underdog teams taking on whatever team gets kicked down from T4 for the week … would maybe be interested in forming some joint-server plans to give them some trouble

It’s ok, they don’t have that problem for the moment.

To the ioj guys in arbl, i dont know whats in greenwater camp but somehow u guys kept going for it, there must be something we do not know about in that camp that really interest you.

I enjoyed the battle with you there, and a special shout-out to the female norn ranger from prot, the warrior commander from ART and HOSS members. Thanks for the great fun

Then, at least 30 pocket-sized guilds (lots of little groups of friends scurrying about) who make up our unregulated militia.

They all put people in daily. Effectiveness varies, but that’s ok, because we’ve been fighting Brolis Pass and that meant we had to play for second, anyway.

Nice defense of Hills on Darkhaven BL just now. Was a fun fight to ride along on. I was the Necro with the sneaky arrow cart placements.

Oh no you don’t… If we attack team red we are playing for second and if we attack green we are double teaming. Are we meant to keep a tally of how many IoJ towers we take and offset it with some DH towers?

Lawls. Welcome to the tier. The “playing for second” bit comes from our past months fighting BP and NSP. NSP started off belonging in this tier, but it wore them down. BP never really belonged in the tier, they were simply resting from their previous weeks in Tier 5, and could almost always muster enough strength to shut down AR from taking a win. Some NSP players got the wrong idea about why AR would stay so close to BP score but only rarely take the win. Plus they just wanted to grief us, from their own frustration.

If you’re consistently having trouble holding your Borderlands and corner of EB, it’s probably because the tier has a mismatched server in it: Either an over- or under-powered team.

It’s nothing personal.

In Tier 6, AR and DH are a good match. Both teams know that they have trouble taking and holding land on the other’s BL. Both have commanders that smell blood in IoJ’s waters.

Very nice fight at Stonemist this morning.

IoJ: You helped DH with that flanking on us, defending the north inner gate with the arrow carts. DH had the north outer entrance, and had siege in the northwest tunnel, blocking us from flanking them on lord’s room. When you blocked our entry entirely, and split yourself to do it, is when they found their chance to kill you.

Good job on moving to DHBL in the last 30 minutes of the fight, though. We were pressuring their EB keep at the same time. That they stopped both was impressive.

AR had outmanned buff for the last hour of the fight.

Don’t take the North arrow cart attack personally, the fight was starting to turn into a stalemate, and I think we (IoJ) misunderstood the dynamics of that fight. It was a really long and fierce battle, and our commander was trying everything to break it in our favour. It really was quite unfortunate that both IoJ and AR ran out of steam at nearly the same time, ending the fight there.

Also sorry for that accidental AR wipe when we went for the north tunnel. Apparently our servers had the same idea at the same time, and you just happened to get caught in the middle when we committed to that attack. Because of the lag, culling and CPU issues, we only noticed a lot of dead AR when the dust settled.

Not taken personally at all. Was amusing (though unfortunate). All 3 servers chose a tunnel and built ballistae at the lord-room-facing exit. The lord room was mostly empty for last minutes of the fight, but culling and lag stopped most players from knowing that.

DH was calling out the event timer and sending people in through the waypoint. I held the ramp down into the room, with all the AR able to get in and brave enough to stay there, for 20 minutes while you built your ballistae and arrow carts in the room.

The north arrow cart was funny… just didn’t work in your favor. If the stalemate had held longer, DH may have lost their keep. We were going to focus their keep while you fought your last battle at Stonemist south, but couldn’t get the PuG to follow away from SM in time.

I’ll give you the same advice we gave you NSP.

Don’t take SM. You don’t have the forces to defend SM and your other points.

Defend your borderlands first. If you can keep us out of your borderland we’re forced to fight in EB which means we fight each other and it spills over to other borderlands.

NSP couldn’t grasp this and hated us for it.

Had a lot of fun flipping towers in AR bl tonight. Picture is of us super-hi-jacking IoJ’s siege on an AR tower. Not gonna lie, IoJ, I felt a twinge of guilt after the 2nd or 3rd time we stole your hard work.

So today i thought hey why not help my guild (UnS) flip some stuff here in WvW its always a great time. Now mind you we have umm 10 people total on at any given time when we are not sleeping and what not we are used to zergs and we have been the type of guild to do the zerging so its what it is. Its gonna happen and all we can do as people is get better at our game. Well i just wanna know why is it when im there or others from my guild are there and we get killed we see people from AR or DH laughing? Why are you laughing people, we have been pondering this for awhile because you dont see us do that when we rush in with our 10 or less people and obliterate 15 to 20 sometimes even 30 of your guys. I do want to know also how is it possible that some of the keeps are being taken so fast the doors were not even damaged…. maybe the people we are facing are not being truthful to us and have an unfair advantage…. or maybe not ,just throwing it out there. Oh also if you see [UnS] on the battlefield please dont run away from us!

All servers have trolls. Many people have an inner troll too, I wouldn’t get up tight about it. Feed them and they win!

Not uptight all but if its an inside joke maybe i can laugh at it too I just wanna know. Plus i know about trolls we have some, people that will remain nameless and hopefully they do not come on the forums.
