You miscounted. There are 22 dots.

And their AoE max targets of 5 counts little against your 2 (visible)-6 on the walls with 50 targets max siege. I’d say that that close to the tower, you had the upper hand.

They are out of range of siege from the tower there. That is the whole reason why people build catapults there. Which is what they were doing.

Not to mention the 10-15 people that were in front of the tower. GJ. You can run out of your spawn, to your tower, and revenge wipe a smaller group of people that just killed you.

Ehm, the only person who was in EB was me, and all I did was killing Dolyaks for 1,5h before we took Stonemist. Yeah, you did kill me once, but you still only got one Dolyak in there, so stay mad I guess.

As a DR player, I am very sorry to hear about this. I agree that it is a pathetic thing to do.

However, it will be only relaying information to a certain group/guild. I’ve never seen someone giving out insider info while in WvW – and if I did I would report them instantly.

As a DR player, I am very sorry to hear about this. I agree that it is a pathetic thing to do.

He slipped up one night and popped his guild tag while he was afk. It was [Lawl]. I’ve been taking screenshots of dude in WvW for months. Reporting as well. We even trolled him by dropping all commander tags, /squadchat mode so nothing important was in /m. Spammed false info about jumping to other BL’s, and sure enough he followed before too long thinking that’s where we all went and immediately hid off to the side. He’s been afk in DR Borderlands for the past 7 hours.

Hell….he’s always afk. Hiding off to the side somewhere. Two months straight (we found out about this when it was IOJ/DR/EB then SBI took over EB’s spot), dude has earned a grand total of 3 achievement points since then. The week or two we (IoJ) lasted against AR before DR dropped down, Hawkster/Lazeruth was never online. Ever. As we weren’t against DR. Now we’re back against DR….suddenly a wild spybot appears.

Just saying. There’s a thread on the IoJ forums. and I have dated screenshots of him since back when DR/IoJ were playing in T5.

I’m not pointing fingers at anyone, anywhere. But if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it isn’t an elephant.

It’s mega shady.

I would like to thank all 3 servers for a fun evening last night. It was my first reset in this tier and enjoyed IoJ’s BL all evening. We, (DR) pushed hard. You, (IoJ) pushed back. Then DH decided we were having too much fun and decided they wanted to come play too. But we (DR & IoJ) pushed them out of the fun corner, and made them sit in their own comer and sulk. (J/K DH)

All in all, it was a great reset and fun night. THANK YOU!

Great time in EB, and a awesome showing by all servers, except IOJ, who had outmanned Reset night is always a no-holds barred naked fist fight. Saw a lot of tactics, chaos, and I did burn about 10 quaggan poitions trying to kill DH via cuteness.

There were several AD roaming in EB, but none of them were the core AD group you see most of the time. ADQQBtsy did come in at some point, but I saw them run by and never saw them again in my area.

@ADQQBtsy, the offer still stands for me to follow along and pick up loot bags. I’ve watched Oozo’s vids and lord knows he doesn’t pick them up

What I would loved to have seen at ~2:35 was a portal dropped on the high ground. Then drop the other side of the portal in the Shadow Refuge at ~2:50. With a couple mesmers, you can pretty consistently kite this way. Its definitely a great spot for it.

Id love to see a video of it, if there is one out there (not specific to that location, there are quite a few spots it can be done). There are a ton of videos, and dont have time to look at all of em.

I think they had a hard time deciding what to do. They took down the tower wall with catapults from inside the tunnel but seemed to be indecisive about what to do at that point. Only their commander could shed light on the situation. Sometimes it’s better just to delay taking an objective and kill.

Meanwhile in EB …. thought it was DH for a second based on the numbers they brought here but looked closely and it was DR lol, this fight went on for a good while … anyways, not complaining, good fights all around though

That was me leading the zerg at the time. It was quite frustrating to be honest. Ever since the WvW update, IoJ has had an increased number of players which is nice but at the same time, they don’t listen too well. We had many players constantly refusing to stay together and run out of tunnel just to get hammered. Most of them simply refuse to even attempt getting on server TS.

Even though I shouldn’t have, I was asking my members to res the players that died outside and kept chasing. I didn’t want new players to feel like they were left out and ignored. Unfortunately, that caused us to slowly dwindle in numbers and eventually wipe.

On a good note Garrison did get recapped during this siege.

Had a bit of fun tonight, especially at Danelon camp, where an impressive number of DH flooded in, pushed us all the way out, where we were able to stall them under a fierce barrage provided by three ballista, and then proceeded to push them the other way. (Of course, I would edit out the parts where the Darkhaveners summoned their reinforcements and had their revenge…)

Also at some point Darkhaven gave us a nasty little surprise when we charged into Danelon camp, only to see a hell of a lot of ballista and a single arrowcart, I think this was at around 8-9pm… what was with that? Someone got bored of building siege at Stonemist and figured they wanted a change of scenery?

I’m not placing blame on anyone. I’m not saying anything bad about any server, except….DH you’re delusional if you think you cant hang in a higher tier. We’ve been there, and you guys are putting up more of a fight 24/7 than SBI or EB. Fact. What I am saying is that after watching this kid, and taking screenshots at least twice a day everytime he’s online (and reporting him, check the logs Anet) nothing has been done and no one is being held accountable. And that’s nonsense.

IoJ is thinner than a twice used condom in wvw vs you guys…and you still do it. I know we’re awesome. I know we can defend the hell out of our overlook/garrison with only 15 ppl vs your 30+ I promise. I get it. But this, while being a bit flattering…is also extremely sad.

When I’m not so tired from playing defense, I’ll be more than happy to post up the screenshots. Anet already has at least 50 on the guy.

Until then…..jesus christ DH….tiers have to be really screwed for you guys to be down here in this tier for so long. Good games.

I mean, I have never heard of a spy bot before. It’s most likely someone from your own server just being annoying. I have never seen anyone share intel on DR.

Furthermore, why would someone from DR do it? DR never has the numbers to take anything from IoJ in EB, save for your T1 towers, and during our horrible off-hours if IoJ doesn’t take out stuff then the other server will anyway.

AR, BP and DH has better coverage then Ehmry Bay, who substitutes this with strong coordination and slightly larger numbers during NA prime and the hours surrounding it. I wouldn’t entirely blame it on numbers and coverage. The off-hour presence and the amount of server drama is Ehmry Bay’s biggest problem right now.

In the end it will all come down to where SoS and SF ends up, they may or may not shake up tiers quite a bit. Hopefully we can soon enjoy a tier without Darkhaven (no offense).

Sounds about right. You have quite a large Oceanic presence. I have seen 50+ IoJ zergs around that time on weekdays.

When DH played BP & AR, we would generally beat them during primetime and the weekends. But, by morning on monday, they would catch up and by tuesday morning we were behind in 3rd place. Thats why you guys hear us saying we lose because of our “bankers shift”, DH is a ghost town in comparison to those 2 servers during that time. We would make up ground at night, but soon fall behind (esp. Borlis) towards the middle/end of the week.

We have more fair weather players recently is about all i can say to that. It’s suprising to me to see this many about. GJ defending hills btw, you guys got me!

Does DH have numbers at the moment? Sure. But it has more to do with the current coverage/winning situation. The numbers they are fielding, and IOJ and DR would both look the same in thier situation, is very simple. And every server has them….

1. Fairweathers – The people that just come out to play when it’s a win. Any big loss and they’re gone.
2. Map completionist – DH has the map, these people want to get thier shiney icon. Got my Vista, I’m gone.
3. First timers – same boat as the fairweathers, excpet they just want to see a victory first hand. What’s supply??? And they’re gone.
4. The puzzlers – I want my JP loot and then I’m back to fractals.
5. Want-to-be hard core – These people say they’re hard, but if things get bad they leave. See this every single day
6. Hard core – These are the people we all know by name. They are there with you winning or pushed to spawn. Win or lose, these people will spawn and run back into the action.
7. Ect… you get the drift. All kinds make up WvW and that can/does sway the score.

So DH wins this week. Great. I personally play for the great victories and the great defeats. IF IOJ or DR had enough to keep the score in thier favor for 24 hours, you’d see DH numbers drop and the other servers gain. Then you’d see nothing but "______ server is a meany cause they got numbers! " I have nothing against either server and hope to see a lot more back and forth, ninjas, and bags for all.

Side note : I’m in the “Hunting for carebears” group. There’s always someone in map chat talking about the care bears. So far I’ve seen bears. I’ve seen rainbows. I have not seen bears with rainbows yelling "Heart power activate! " The hunt continues.

It’s very simple the server with the most people on covering the most hours wins. There’s a bunch of them on, they get bored, they go see what’s going on in the other borderlands, find nobody’s home and then take the stuff. Brilliant design, Anet.

The yak’s were deemed unfit to live from our R&D department. There death was imminet =)

Yah it does demoralize when your pushing a BL, and you just watch your homeland get engulfed in blue/green colors =( It seems if were not defending our homeland whichever army were mounting against in the current BL, the opposite army see’s this and pounces on our vulnerable map. Only thing to do is keep fighting and try to protect the homeland!

While we were trying to make a push, I saw that Men Gap was being attacked while under DH control. I ran out there once and hid in the water right next to the IoJ spawn area (Right under that water fall). I decided to take a peak only to see DH swarm over IoJ, which also resulted in my death. Sadly, I was lagging really bad and I didn’t even see me die, just kind of fell over and all the Yakks on the map sped up and zoomed across the map (Was quite hilarious to watch). So, after that I decided that I’d pop over into DRBL but I saw the swords appear, once again at the DH Men Gap. I decided “Why not, I’ll give it one more try” I ran over there. Followed behind an IoJ as he went up the stairs. I waited on the stairs and saw IoJ rush across the bridge, knowing it was time I ran up the stairs and made it into the gate as it closed, thus getting my 100% Map completion.

Was fun, dancing inside the tower as IoJ beat me down but I was happy to finally have that done so I can focus more on WvW instead of having that 1 last point I needed for the last few weeks. I did the same thing with Anz two or so days before the reset last week as well.

Now that my OCD has been satisfied I can enjoy WvWvW a lot more now, as I originally came to WvWvW only to get my map completion, I found that WvW is extremely fun, win or lose, outmanned, or what have you. See you on the battle fields.
