Conversely, what’s your point? If somebody on KN wants to recruit to fill their coverage gap, that’s their business. Regardless of what you may think, they’re welcome to do that.

A TC player named Lanimal started the rally to recruit more players for Kain. I could see if Kain was to start it themselves, but come on. Obviously a few people are uncomfortable with not have certain servers in a lead position.

Actually our thread we posted to each week, and kaineng keeps relatively quiet on the matter as we should. Note our recruitment is always ongoing look at the thread itself, and I generally poke around to see who may be moving, to have a chat or note with them. Public information is public, in short. I thought it a kind gesture to note it in our wvw thread, but please do not mix up one thread with the other. TC are well aware of our server recruitment thread, they are smart as they are fun. Sometimes it’s really strange when people do nice things, who knew? In the end I spilled a little of the beans which I shouldn’t have but for those who did not know. All in all, we still rock and will continue to do so, but to me highlights a good opportunity to build around the play time I see requiring a need. Shouldn’t be any issue here, and let’s move this topic back to the current matters at hand. All points have been discussed and all questions answered. Anything past is trolling. Monday’s … always gotta have a good kick start to the work week

Actually they treat us with respect and it’s a kind gesture from a respected opponent.

TC benefited a lot from KN and BG players posting positive comments on our recruitment thread so much so that I didn’t have to go actively recruit, people came to us.

Noticed we didn’t quite repay the favour in kind to Kaineng and just asked people to bump their recruitment thread. Its not like I am going out of my way and talking to guilds to join Kaineng :P because I am quite effective at that as well.

All three servers in T2 have gaps and all three servers can push for first place based on hours invested in-game or other servers stepping of the gas etc. Kaineng getting pacific NA guilds and TC getting oceanic guilds and FA getting SEA guilds will only make this tier even better.

About not helping FA? Well I have on the whole not had that many positive experiences dealing with FA’s community so I would be kidding myself by BS’ing on your thread.

What Lanimal notes is true. Check postings over the past few weeks, around the time BG was in t2 moving up. You will see many from BG and Kain (myself included) posting all of our servers, and when we knew TC could use a few… promoting them over our servers. It’s the nature of our servers.

I don’t understand the pity party for another server being slightly behind. Let the chips fall as they may and let’s get out of those towers and smash each other into pixellated dust.

I’m glad you guys have such great history, but your bias is very visible.

To some it’s just a matter of respect. Other’s simply want to get more fights. Pity has nothing to do with this….As for you guys being in 3rd, most of you have been constantly reminding us how 1 of you can wipe 50 million of us on every fifth post of this thread so there’s really no worries there. :p

Edit: Biased? I don’t know where’d you been but I’m pretty sure that’s been obvious for quite awhile now.

It would be so superficial if TC players were posting on FA’s recruitment thread when all the dirty laundry between the two servers is aired constantly. It would be counter-productive for you guys and the majority of you guys would typically think we are being sarcastic. I am sure there are players on TC that are on neutral ground with FA and they would be cool with ‘helping you guys’

Similar to our history with BG and Kaineng there is a much longer-standing history with TC and FA and not much of a positive one.

Kaineng is neutral though, you could always convince them to bump your thread if you need help with recruiting. I thought FA enjoyed being the underdog and therefore not having to deal with their fairweathers and being able to get all their guilds on the map when they are red and 3rd?

That’s because one of your guilds was going down to FC to train them. The same time we were about to go to help them (look back at my posting last week). At the same time, we are actually noting that we are recruiting to fill one of our time slots where one of our guilds stop playing the game. I understand where you and the others are coming from, but your not actually listening to whats being written, and just saying “why them and not us”?

Which looks more like you are just trolling TC for the point of trolling TC. Both Kain and BG did the respective same for TC 6-7 weeks back or so to multiple guilds that were looking for a new home (many threads out there of proof). This predates you and your argument about TC doing this just now and says its nothing more than an in kind gesture. It’s not a bad thing to play nice. And earlier I noted that I am starting to see FA in another light too, but to continue on this one moot point after being provided the entire backing from both servers player perspectives, and refusing to understand from anyone outside of your own perspective is relatively useless isn’t it?

Think of it this way, Kain FA and TC, have been building and developing relations along the way through this tier, most everyone plays nice, and more so now than before. That makes it pretty cool, on top, in game there are riveting good battles to be had. And a relative equal footing, and yes, a little surprising to see us down slightly, but not without reason. While FA has been actively recruiting here, and on guildwars2guru. Yes, I’m a member there and retain contact with some other guilds from GvG in gwwc/gwfc in gw1. One of the only avenues… if for some reason … let’s say BT or one of your core guilds up and quit. and it started showing on the score, I might look at it and think something is amiss. I’d come here. I’d read the countless threads re: WM. Then they are squashed. Something is still amiss. I know from my perspective. You won’t admit it, but I know. Because I like you and respect you as an opponent, and hey… you may have done this in past for us… I may go bump your recruitment thread to help bolster your server up. Then you might say something. And my friends all do the same.

Can you ask yourself … if this happened, would TC or Kain flame the other or support it? Hands down both would support it, leading a positive example because we enjoy the game and want the opponent (in this example you) to remain fine, even if its only a minor move. Does that help clarify the thought process (even if unfamiliar)?

Which guild quit from Kain? Anyways its just 1 person’s opinion that kaineng shouldn’t recruit anymore. While his opinion has some support with how close this tier is. If this guild that quit on kaineng makes a big gap in coverage then kaieng also has support for looking for one to fill the spot. Either way everyone has a valid argument. Lets get the thread back on track.

Yeah my sentiments are that these guys had nothing but great things to say about TC when we needed bodies. I like them and respect them a great deal .. and as you can see by multiple TC players here, they feel the same way. Kain are great people in my books.

2 points I would like to make. 1st kain is doing fine people are over reacting yes they arn’t in first this week but TC came back from further last week no big deal. Second all the TC going into kain recruitment thread is making then look desperate. Okay to bump it up for them once and awhile but all sudden 20 people posting from another server looks bad IMO.

i heard Presence (Awe) from CD is on the way to TC….. not sure how true it is but that comes from someone in Awe itself…

Oh my, this thread has taken a turn. I know I posted earlier that I felt bored, but perhaps that was the wrong word to use. I think Kaineng is fine, perhaps we are just not feeling the same sense of motivation and challenge as we once did. I’ve been on Kaineng since I joined the game, when we were at the bottom of T8. It’s been a long trip, and fun too. We particularly enjoyed the BG/TC/KN match for those 3 weeks, even though we couldn’t beat BG, we’ll always have great respect for them regardless.

I do not really believe Kaineng are upset about not winning last week, or this week. I believe most of us are just fine with it. Do we really need to win all the time? I don’t think so. Although the seemingly larger populations on both TC and FA of late, regardless of their origin, do put a stress on our stretched WvW core, particularly on our usual weak areas. It’s true we have never had the PVE population to draw from. We’ve always been predominately WvW and those playing now are the same that played in T8 or joined us later.

I appreciate the sentiment expressed by the TC members, it’s really appreciated. At the same time however, I agree with those from FA. If we feel we need to recruit, we should do that on our own. If people want to transfer then they will. But the fact is WvW guilds aren’t moving around like they used to and the story of the great transfers to T8 Kaineng is unlikely to be repeated…certainly not to T2 Kaineng.

So, Kaineng knows we do not have the horsepower to make T1, and it’s also true many of us do not want to anyway. Perhaps this is a time for reflection after a long journey and much success,. This is a game after all and the rumors of our imminent demise are, I have a feeling, as exaggerated as always.

So cheer the heck up!.

Not really. We understand what you meant, well atleast I do. However it would be good for everyone if people understand that TC is merely repaying KN’s kindness with kindness. There’s no grand conspiracy scheme here or anything. We saw KN as a stronger server and didn’t bother to notice it’s weaker timeslot and I guess I could say we were also a little selfish with our own coverage issues. I personally was selfish that we might lose KN’s awesomeness to T1 (not that I don’t want you guys to succeed or make it to T1, but you guys are just too awesome to let you go anywhere :P) like how we lost BG so didn’t really bother with bumping that thread. This week KN’s weaker timeslot is more visible and we decided it’s the right thing to do to help in their effort so that (I know I’m exaggerating here) we won’t see them drop tiers.

Seriously, good fights in TC BL tonight. I found out that getting anywhere near a TC zerg is hazardous to your hps. We shall RISE, REturn, COme back…..

I wonder when KN is gonna wake up and realise the main reason why they’re losing is because they’re only attacking TC BL. We then move to their borderland to regain the points they are taking from us and FA wins.

They only have the people for TC BL. Outmanned in EB/KNBL/FABL. They can’t hold off an attack on KNBL regardless.

So why can’t you guys move the people from TC to FA just once out of 4 days? Or even just protect your own BL?

I know we frown on negativity but the sole reason FA is winning is because KN refuses to fight them. I also think KN would be in second if they would bring this match back to a fair 1v1v1. This is one of the first times I’ve seen a legitimate 2v1 but that’s absolutely what’s gone down this week. The last time KN has more than a tower and 2 camps on FA BL was Friday reset. You guys aren’t ‘teaming’ with FA but you’re blatantly avoiding which is just as bad and as far as I’m concerned, ruining the integrity of the tier. KN isn’t dead or dying, they’re just playing stupid. KN pushes TC, TC pushes KN by retaliation. The end result is FA > TC > KN.

Worry about yourself and not what KN is doing, heed the words that have been told to FA the last few weeks, it’s WvWvW one server is bound to get hit by the other 2 sometimes.

Hey I don’t set any schedules. I’m just saying Kaineng just doesn’t have the players on any maps right now. There’s unupgraded structures on TC BL to attack vs 3 waypoints and full upgrades on FA BL.

And you realize almost every day last week, TC had what was seemingly near a full-map zerg in KN’s border running around? Maybe they want to return the favor. They’ve tried just defending KNBL and it simply doesn’t work. They got overrun every night.

Alright guys. I understand that I’m going to get brushed off as one of the trolls or whatever but please examine the maps and you’ll notice there is absolutely truth behind what I’m saying. I completely understand the ebb and flow of 1v1v1 but there hasn’t been any flow since Friday. That’s all I’m trying to say. I’m gonna stop now because I don’t think it’s doing any good. :<

Im going to be fair and say that FA (im on FA) have complained about 2v1 for quite a while so its only fair that i guess TC also get to complain about it too.

Something funny (but understandable) is that its mostly either about TC and Kai teaming FA or FA and Kai teaming TC but its very very rarely about FA and TC teaming Kai.

“CO RE and RISE are on TCBL hitting us pretty hard we need to get them off TCBL so lets pressure their Garrison in KABL. Once they leave we can attempt at upgrading our properties in TCBL.”

The situation might have been different if CO RE and RISE had gone in force to FABL Hills while TC was trying to take bay for 3 hours (Great defense FA btw).

haha it’s okay I’m just bitter because we’re on our way to T3. TC had 60+ man zergs on both TC and KBL, so it’s only natural that they’d try to take them over (especially since we were outmanned on both maps).

I have yet to encounter a TC zerg on FA BL, but then I don’t get on that map as much. Seems there always FA there just waiting for someone to try to take a camp or even take out a supply caravan. I’ve noticed that FA BL north supply has been fully upgraded (unless TC capped it within the last 24 hrs).

How did AoN get dragged into the conspiracy theory nonsense?

There is only certain situations that involve AoN attempting to take a tower or keep. 1) We ran through already opened defenses and killed everyone else 2) Some nefarious plan, hatched out of boredom, that involves a lot of killing 3) We are coordinating with other FA guilds and that is our task.

We pay zero attention to PPT and only the threat of dropping to dominate a lower tier would inspire us to care enough to try and make sure that didn’t happen.

In short if it seems like we are helping an enemy server, wait five minutes and see who we are attacking next. An hour later than your example we were in hills harassing the TC zerg ball to keep pressure off of the inner part of the keep that KN was defending. Unfortunately KN attacked all six of us instead of TC, promptly got stomped by TC and lost hills. I would respectfully suggest to the conspiracy crowd that some of KN is actually allied with TC and handing them keeps!

Read my next post after that one please. I’m grousing because my server is dying, and I think I felt compelled to single you guys out because you’re always noticeable. Plus it’s late, I’m drunk, and I spent 5+ hours flipping home BL today only to have most of it lost by the time I came home from a short shift at work.

Alas, whatever happened at Hills later was not under my command. I actually de-tagged maybe 30-45 minutes before we even took it. I tend to ignore you guys unless I’m about to engage a larger force and need to collect my tail, which you’re very good at harassing. If you got hit by the whole zerg, it was probably because whoever was commanding got frustrated. I’m sure it has happened to you guys a few times, I know I’ve doubled back to deal with you more than once! :P

I think it’s unfair to attribute the only reason FA is winning (currently) is because of a 2v1. I think FA is playing fairly well right now.

So KN hits some bumps and all the sudden we are dying? Gah…sounds like some bandwagon players to me. Why don’t we all just man up and dig in. This match up tends to be close week in and week out. Sure, we KN players have had a good string of wins, but it’s only natural to take some hits. Y’all need to stop lamenting the “end of KN” because of a rough patch when two to three weeks ago, we were going on about “how long til KN goes to T1”…
