After seeing the competition in T7 Anet really needs to get people in both tiers to check out both tiers. I understand there is no easy fix for T8 but for the love of god boost ET and FC by at least 200-300 points to try to put a band aid on the problem for now.

It is so unreasonable for their scores to be about half of T7 servers…especially after the new transfers. I have played on both Tiers and seems like T7 would stand a chance against T8 so for teams to be punished from problems that free transfers created doesn’t seem right.

NSP would give SF more than a run for its money. GoM probably would too. And whichever T7 server went to T8 would be just as bad for T8 as SF is.

can you please get over the population stompfest argument? its tired and most likely untrue.

as for a bandaid solution… i think anet can code a real solution quick enough to make a bandaid unneeded. the real question is if they have acknowledged a problem exists.

I don’t see what that has to do with what I said. VK said that SF have the numbers, but no great skill. But NSP and GoM and HoD have numbers too.

I just can’t see SF dominating T7 like they do in T8. And I doubt that ET or SF are a match for any T7 server.

Maybe it isn’t that system is broken – maybe SF needs to win more convincingly to be worthy of T7.

I’ve said all about T8 and ratings I want to, but thinking that SF needs to win more convincingly? So winning by more than ET and FC scores combined (even double our combined scores before the free xfers last week) week in, week out, month in, month out is not enough.

They need to win more convincingly.

SF *has* the numbers, altho they might be light on coverage at certain time periods... i’m not sure.

as for skill... none of us on tier 8 were overly skilled with the exception of a few groups here and there. that subject has been talked to death, too. the introduction of the free transfers to medium servers, while not helping the Glicko Ghetto any, HAS taught all of us on tier 8 some new skills and techniques...

let SF go to tier 7. with their new skills recently learned (AFTER VK reported on the general lack of skill)... let’s SEE who actually gets ROFLstomped. and, while i can’t speak for the rest of my server... i can speak for myself, and i say "Bring on the worst tier 7 can offer... we’ll fight."

I used to be under the impression that we all belong in T8 until I went to T7 and had an eye opening experience. First off the whole thread is to point out the fact that ET and FC do not deserve to have such a low rating at all, and yes I think the first T7 server that drop is going to end up in spot 24.
