We at Crystal Desert need more NA/EU WvWvW guild coverage. We have considerable Asian/Oceanic force but we are considerably weaker during NA/EU primetime.

We need more NA/EU coverage to fight in Tier 3. If you’re looking for a no-queue WvWvW during your primetime (6pm-12am), you’re most welcome to CD.

Actually, I thought it was more of the Oceanic/Asian slot where we’ve been getting slammed recently.

I saw you guys recruiting for oceanic slot as well; I am confused now.

OP was a month ago – CD was (and always has been, I think) an oceanic/SEA heavy server. I don’t think CD lost anyone other than KH yet, so the oceanic numbers are definitely there. Maybe in PvE for the week, but there.

Crystal Dessert was always stronger in Asian/Oceanic times because most of our player base is there. Since then, we’ve had an infusion of NA guilds, which helped balance out our defense across timeslots immensely.

The guilds have always been quite dedicated, often holding out until the next timeslot appears to defend.

However, for some unknown reasons, this week has been quiet during Asian primetime. Complicating the matter, FA has had a huge injection from IoJ, forming the FAJita server, and now probably has the population and coverage of a T2 server. Given some time, they should move up in the ranks to T2 where they belong.

Still, if people enjoy playing in a server that enjoy a balanced PvE and WvW experience, do come and join the server and our guilds. I’d say we’re more similar to the Garnished Toast.

Absolutely! The nice thing about CD is that not only is there WvW organization and VoIP infrastructure for the community, but there’s also plenty of PvE going on at the same time.

We know that WvW isn’t the most profitable way to play this game – I really appreciate being able to drop into LA and find that dungeon group I’m looking for at both prime time and odd hours. (I’m a East Coast NA player, myself.) I engage in both the PvP(WvW) and PvE aspects of this game, so having a friendly server that is populated around the clock is wonderful.

This place is definitely more of a community than just a server.
