I have to give you guys credit though, nice defense of AH last night. Always hard to take that when it’s being defended properly. especially with us outmanned on that map.

It’s weird because since WM left our coverage in oceanic times in T1 was absolutely terrible, we’d get to < 150 ppt constantly and sometimes like < 80 ppt. I mean SoS has crazy oceanic coverage but we just had nobody at all, outmanned on our BL etc etc. I can’t work out if it’s the NA prime time guys staying up late atm, rallying for the new match-up, or it’s just the (or a new) oceanic crew re-emerging once more.

Could well be a morale issue. As far as I know, SBI has always had oceanic/asian guilds other than WM, and I’m seeing at least a few of them come out in numbers for the past couple nights (Yaki, Syn, NYS are the ones I know, I’m sure there are many others). First week of tier 2 could have brought them out in force whereas they just haven’t been so active in T1, for example.

TC and SoR in comparison have little oceanic coverage to speak of. I’m not sure a server such as SBI who has been in T1 since the beginning can understand how “little” we mean when we say “little”, but here it is. Nevertheless, the week has started out awesome and the fights have been great. Coverage will eventually kick in and determine the point spread, but what matters is that everyone enjoys the fights ahead!

I agree with the fine poster from TC above. I was on SoR borderlands around this time and we had the outmanned buff. We could do very little to the crew SBI brought, not to mention the 5-6 golems.

Did you read the story from the first place? I just said to the guy from SBI to expect such JP camping from CAMP because it existed (didn’t even bothered with it anymore, it was fun trying to figure how to break their lines) and your friend came acusing my guild of doing the same… And as guildmaster of HSSS, i have the right to defend my guild from such unfounded acusation.

Long story short: a SoR member started a flame where it didn’t existed.

Oh you guys get too serious. Trust me when I say TW appreciates all the guilds out there that come out to fight. We keep it a little interesting creating some rivalries when possible with a little forum drama, we mean nothing negative or insulting about it, we are used to VNboards attitudes from back in DAOC, those of you who played that game know what I mean.

As always, if there are any guilds out there interested in setting up guild v guild anywhere, please let us know, we are ALWAYS down. You let us know the numbers and where to show up.

TC and SBI you guys are great sports and I love the light, playful threads as well as the strict anti-cheating/exploiting stances I think all 3 servers universally have.

I never want to go back to tier 1. This is the most fun that I’ve had in weeks. So far the competition is pretty even across the board and everyone has been good sports. Tip of the hat to everyone!

Just once it would be nice if it wasn’t Green + Red vs Blue. SBI has been completely unchallenged by TC in thier BL all weekend.

When you play probably skews your viewpoint.

In US primetime, TC has been in SBI’s BL. They’ve been in SoR’s BL. They’ve been under assault in their own BL.

Perhaps it is different in Euro time period, but I don’t play then. We certainly won’t have the same numbers we do in US primetime, so I imagine the choice is made to focus TCBL/EB and ‘one’ of the other two BL’s when able.

In any case, broad, sweeping statements remain, and always will be entirely incorrect, do an injustice to any and all servers and their players, and are based upon personal bias.

For example, my opinion of SoR in EB for the last 3 weeks (not this week thus far) would be vastly at odds with those of TC who play in the BL’s – EB SoR and BL SoR are two vastly different things.

“Master. I have another head from the pile of Rallian corpses.” It croaked as it arrived at the foot of the table. It looked up in adoration at Vulkus, presenting the material as requested. The Necromancer was hard at work on his latest creation. A Flesh Golem made from the pieces of fallen enemies. The only piece missing, a suitable head.

“Ah, Mavrokclek. Let’s see what you have there.” His master said as he reached for the head. The little demon stood back and wrung its hands nervously as the master studied the grisly material in detail. “Perhaps. Just perhaps.” The master began chanting in a language the demon knew was from the lowest pits of hell. Adapting the Rallian head for the fleshy construct.

Not far away, and outside the necromancy workshop, two Tarnished Coastguard soldiers stood waiting for their necromancer ally. Kendrick Duskomen, ranger and one of the Coast’s greatest commanders. The Anchor Knight, Thrumdi, guardian and captain of the Coastguard. Both waited impatiently for Vulkus to finish his precious creation.

“It appears our friend has nearly completed his Golem.” Thrumdi spoke in a quiet, deep voice, filled with wisdom. He had watched with distaste as the little Jagged demon delivered the Rallian head to the necromancer. The words of power echoing out of the little cabin workshop sent shivers down the big Norn’s spine.

“Let’s hope so. Madember has requested The Tarnished Coastguard’s presence to bolster the next attack in Rallian territory.” Kendrick, the leader of the guard, hung his longbow from his back and looked over to the cabin.

“I’ll swallow your soul! I’ll swallow your soul! I’ll swallow your soul!” A high pitched voice squeaked from the workshop. Kendrick thought it sounded like a talking chicken. There was a loud crash, followed by cursing from the necromancer. The jagged horror dashed out of the cabin in fear.

“Imbecile!” They heard Vulkus scream. “Bring me a head with a larger brain! This one wouldn’t power a baby chimp!” He yelled. The two solders ducked as the window of the cabin exploded and the Rallian head flew out and rolled through the dirt. Kendrick paled. Thrumdi turned to look at the ranger.

“Guess we wait a little longer.” He mused. The ranger shrugged and began to oil his newest axe.

“Unless you want to tell Vulkus we will leave without him.” The ranger joked. Thrumdi looked at the workshop with a frown. When he looked to Kendrick again, he shook his head, no. “As I thought.” Kendrick added with a smile.

Not sure what you mean, I just left SBIBL after about 2-3 hours running with about an 8-man team flipping camps and generally being an annoyance. We were thin on coverage in our own BL so I wouldn’t expect more to have come with us. We’re just working with what we have.

It’s easier there than here since there are no text posts on. And we are also fond of our server site = shameless plug.

BTW- My conclusion after 2 days with you guys is that T1 servers were so obsessed with points and winning that they forgot what WvW is about.

You have a major guild leader in there that wrote a detailed guide just a few weeks before he got toT1 on how to “enjoy WvW and not care about points or rank”. Now he does military maneuvers in PvE with the new recruits (from LA to Orr coordinated on TS) and kicks recruits for not obeying orders or having the right setup. Then brags about his Kills/deaths ratio and writes a guide on how to use the 2vs1 in your advantage.

You have another guild leader sending troll PMs to a Korean commander (that doesn’t understand English) and then comes bragging (on our SBI forums) about how “effective” his “morale lowering” tactics were. In direct fights he was apparently running behind his troops at the slightest danger.

During the last weeks, when SBI clearly lacked coverage, whenever a strong group of SBI WvWers were on one map, the opponent would just switch map and capture targets that we had no people to defend. Or hide behind walls.

Then two days before we move to T2 – they come on our forums and challenge us to an open field fight, at a place and time of their choice, the kind of fight they avoided for weeks.

Based on how the Elo system works, I guess we will be playing against each other for a while. It will probably be a good thing.

I for one have deeply enjoyed fighting with our new SBI opponents, and TC as well. I would not be dissapointed by fighting you for weeks to come, and enjoying the intense fights and exciting, hair pulling strategic twists!

Wasn’t happy to see a member of FEAR underground preventing a cap at a camp on SBI BL’s lastnight. Although we did finally kill him it wasn’t an honorable thing to do.

GW2 pixels? Just happened to be at a supply camp too. Well I have never seen FEAR glitching but what an excuse lol. Anyway you can tell by the FEAR guild’s forum posts they are a bunch of stand up guys and would never do something like that…

Holding SM would be soo much easier if we could actually claim the keep lord.

K just thought id provide a few updates.
The first of which im extremely proud of . I have just opened a RISEN Chicken an YAK Stand in the middle of ruins . YOu asked for it now ya got it. NOw theres no need to be fighting to get in the Door..(cause frankly there are no doors ). I have plenty of yak to serve up .. in fact the yaks just seem to show up all by them selves to be included in your meals. Only charging a copper a plate.
If you choose to get out of line .. my sentry in the isle will see to it that you are dealt with properly.. just watch his trick knee.
I will asked the trebing from either tower slow down a bit .. That cow u keep shooting in is a bit smelly an even more so over done.
The second update is as follows … Logan thackery will now be handling all seige breakouts.. As it turns out .. Commander seigerazer has just failed his first an only drugtest.. we all knew he was on steriods but now we have his pee to prove it . We can thank SOR for their valant effort to retreive it . SBI not to be left out is still hunting the stool sample. That in of itself deserves a combat badge to drop.
Update 3. is more near an dear to my heart ..The krait have decided to get more involved.. Seems that they have yet to take a single prisoner in WVW so from here on out .. they will be raiding the towers looking for a good time. I’ve explain to them that they are not the redheaded step children they claim to be . That honor goes to the Skritt .. an while we are on that note .. IF you see a Skrit at arah ..His name is BOB and the little s.o.b stole my watch an char made cell phone. (lots of metal , big buttons an screws.).
And on a last note .. To all the Rangers with pets .. TArnish coast has an ordinace for pets .. If i step in poop one more time from one of your wayward pets .. They will be my next meal at my food stand at ruins.. Fried MOA , pecan spider, apple crisp bear claw.. you get the idea. Simply put ..IF the pet drops a bomb . Trash bins will be placed in all towers to accomodate said bomb.

To my BG folk who still read the TC NEWS .. hope you guys an girls are gettin it done in tier 1 . And to the SBI who have joined us here in Tier 2. Welcome .. hope your stay here is pleasant with some moments of pain an irritation. To the rank an file of SOR.. You guys still continue to amaze me in tactics .. OMG me too! When I left EB today I was totally encumbered due to all the of the loot! I had a debuff that made me walk at 50% run speed, and as I hobbled back to our keep, a random item would drop out of my inventory every 100 feet. It was crazy!

I felt like Santa Clause with my breadcrumb trail of exotics left behind. My bags are so bursting with badges though I just didn’t have room for anything else! Thanks guys!

CAMP from SoR would like to thank the 30+ zerg members we wiped out earlier today in the EB JP. Our record for holding the EB JP was 12 hours. When we have all members on board it’s not uncommon for us to hold for 6+ hours. As a small guild, we don’t just hold the JP, we dual man the supply camps while splitting into several groups. Our small teams can out zerg a zerg, so there is room for the small guilds in WvW if set up right. ANY DEV IS WELCOME TO JOIN US AND SEE WHAT WE DO.

So – When ever any one of you want to 1v1, let me know and 1v1. You can use any hack you want becuase as you know – I’m still beating you.

Saying that we use “speed hacks” and “radar” because our guild group bested yours in an even numbers fight? You could just take the loss graciously and perhaps learn something. What I assume you mean by speed hacks are skills such as ride the lightning and infiltrator strike. Believe it or not, thieves have a skill other than heartseeker.

If you want to 1v1 any of us, just give me a shout in-game. We all generally enjoy 1v1’ing as it forces us to better ourselves. I promise we won’t use “radar”, photon torpedos and phaser beams on you

You seem to feel the need to boast and brag. We let our ability show itself in the game, not by complimenting ourself on the forums.

It does seem however that your post is littered with inaccuracies. For example, we were 6. Perhaps if you are actually interested in making any valid claims, may I suggest you review your videos. Count the amount of players, look at skills used and look at how people are porting around. You might learn a thing or two.

An affront to Thieves has been detected.

Sir, a little known fact even among Thieves is that the follow-up skill to Infiltrator’s Strike – Shadow Return – is an almost unlimited range teleport. This may look like a hack to those who don’t know about it.

Some Thieves have reported teleporting so far that they had to go through the WvW loading screen. Infiltrator’s Strike is no. 2 main-hand sword, so sword Thieves can do this pretty often.
