Dunno why people are saying we’re getting stomped in T3. Considering how much we were rocking last week, nipping at the heels of DB for first place up until Tuesday. And this week we’re still holding on tight for second place despite the fairweather effect kickin’ in.

Sounds like people are trying to jock our #magswag.

We’re actually doing fine, The major difference in scores is the oceanic timezone, where DB has coverage that maguuma and yak’s both lack, giving them a bloated score.

The only people saying we’re getting stomped are those not in this tier. We are an NA server and win during NA hours.

This thread is explicitly for oceanic, because our small amount of oceanic players need friends during troubled times. Dwarves need warmth through cuddles.

Yes but they often stayed up late enough to count as oceanics. And I’m oceanic.

Back during the week TC fought Maguuma, I had a blast. Now fighting with them… I don’t know what could be more exhilarating.

“Sabrina as Commander” = awesome

I only have time to play over the weekends and while WvW is where I spend most of my time, I am not very skilled in PvP (never have been and after 10+ years of playing various MMOs, one has to eventually face facts). What I can say without question is that Maguuma has been blessed with several very good commanders (That I see on the weekends) and in my opinion, Sabrina is one of, if not “the”, best. Sabrina’s orders are clear, she communicates well and after a couple of times following her lead, running with her becomes second nature.

Sabrina as Ranger or Sabrina as sorcerer or Sabrina as anything…. Just thank God we have Sabrina as Commander.

I have found the community in WvW on Maguuma to be really friendly. Add that to the outstanding leadership offered by “Sabrina”, “Bro” and the others and you can’t really ask for more.

Sorry I can’t remember all the names of the other commanders that really deserve a heart felt thank you….. many, but not all, are in the guild WAR.

Raid leading, pvp or pve, is a lot of work and those that take on the role provide an opportunity for others like me to just have some fun.

Win or Lose, it is still about “how you play the game”

A smile goes a lot further than going “all agro” on your fellow players. While there are a few “socially challenged” players on every server, I have experienced first hand the patience and team work displayed on Maguuma.

Thank you to all the Maguuma players that make our server a better place and hang in there….. we will all have our ups and downs in WvW, our time will come again.

No, but our Oceanics are burning out with 1000000:1 odds every night.

Basically what saiyr said. NA loves t3, night time mags are not. In t3 we will always be facing either DB, KN, or SoS. All 3 scenarios means we’d like to get our oceanics more people to play with so they can enjoy the tier as much as the NA people do.

I feel you, bud. Where DR is, Darkhaven has a massive population for T6, forcing us to fight 4:1 at all times – we should be getting destroyed right now, but Darkhaven’s lack of skill makes up for their incredible numbers.

Mag’s NA presence is really awesome so if an oceanic guild is looking for a new home, MAG would be a good place. We DB, are moving to T2, WM on KN is rumored to have disbanded(not sure, no idea) so they could use some people! MAG’s are well skilled and joy to talk to in game. Highly recommend

People need to learn the difference between not wanting players to mass bandwagon on winning server and getting numbers for dead time slot.

You’ve obviously never met a werewolf vampire hybrid, a person who’s professions are both being a ninja and a pirate (times are hard), and have never had the pleasure of having a good red velvet cake. Not much to say (since I don’t know Maguuma all that well!) except I hope you get the oceanics you need! Nonetheless, it doesn’t change things between us…

So, i’m playing and its during oceanic time, not liking the way things are going at the moment im bringing this thread back to the first page. To anyone considering transferring for more of a challenge I would consider this as the server for you, we are in tier 3 with hardly any oceanic presence which would be a great opportunity for a guild or a number of guilds to show other servers what you are capable of when faced with other servers like kaineng and yaks bend. current score for reset isnt too bad I just would like my hard work to still be there in the morning every once in a while.

Don’t listen to these people. It is horrible on Maguuma. Stay away.

Why do we want to turn into even more of a zerg server? WvW has become so zergy now, it is barely fun. If I didn’t love SM, I would have already bailed to a lower pop server where individual skill level matters.
