The servers needs to be turned off, given a dust off maybe open some of the ports and blow gently into them and plug the cables back in as there is severe lag going across every tier in WvW and it seems to be situated very specifically.

On SoR server the JQ (red) borderland has heavy lag with people skipping around, disconnecting from game and skill lag even whilst there is no combat happening. I’ve disconnected from JQ borderlands 4 times in the last 2 hours.

In all seriousness something needs to be done, the servers need to be taken completely offline for half an hour and given time to start afresh.

I hope any ANet acknowledges this and everyone else agrees.

I was getting disconnected in the JQ borderland like crazy yesterday, too. The others didn’t seem to have the same issue, but I guess that could have been coincidental.

it’s not just you guys, trust me. random disconnects in random situations in wvw. already died twice to players because of lag, fights i would’ve won ._.

Hence why I said;

Down in these tiers there’s basically no lag ever. If you just want to do small open field fights, its the best place to be. No impact by the other 150 people smashing into each other because they don’t exist.

Yeah no lag down here but I’ll gladly take a 30min-1hour cool off session if the upper tiers need it

Ya i have this same problem, in middle of the battle they lag and few min later d/c

Well, Im in T2.
Played a good 6 hours from 9pm est to 3am.
No lag, no disconnect.

So calling it server wide, maybe only your borderland ?
I do recall a few weeks back FABL had disconnect issues u are describing for ? a few days ?

The problem with fixing intermittent issues is that they dont happen to EVERYONE
& appear to be isolated to certain BL maps at certain times.
This goes for any profession; be it a car mechanic or pc repair dude.

You did the right thing in reporting it, but for me in FA T2, no issues detected

EDIT: been playing today for the last 2 hours also, no issues…

Lots of lag and DCing in Jade Quarry map again still. Alot of people in vent saying there DCing / seeing people pinging around the map.

Not DC, but there is more lag than before.

Haven’t been experiencing any lag in T4, but I have seen before that specific maps can have issues (a couple of weeks ago, one of the BLs was completely broken and down for an hour or two).

Fabl had this issue a week or so ago, it eventually got fixed, but not till the end of the week. Other servers reported similar issues, oddly enough with just the red maps.

In T4 I rarely ever see skill lag, though it did crop up a bit today. I’d be happy to take a breather to come down to the server room and give the machines a hug.
