The Hakaishin (http://hakaishinlegion.com) are reaching out to like-minded guilds to form a bit of a WvW coalition on Sorrow’s Furnace. Not a merger, just a partnership.

This would allow multiple guilds to hop in the same Vent channel (we happily offer ours if no one else has a better option, and we’ll eat the bill to help the server) and work as a vastly more organized unit as opposed to the current random madness and internal bickering that has lead to several defeats.

We could discuss command structure, objectives, etc as we are open minded. We aren’t seeking to lead though will if we must. Rather we would like to contribute all we can to Sorrow’s Furnace victory and see this as the best option currently.

Any guild leaders or officers of Sorrow’s Furnace willing to discuss this option may respond to this thread and I will PM you our Vent information and we can hash out a time to get together and discuss the details.

I am an officer of a small guild called Ours is the Fury [FURY]. We have a small presence in WvW (five or so folks so far) and a great interest in helping our server organize into more than a mindless zerg. I’m sure my guildmates would be just as interested as I am in seeing what your coalition may have to offer.

Good to see. I’m a casual player but noticed things have been a little disorganized. Be nice to jump on and get a better understanding of where I am needed and what we are tying to accomplish.

Hello! I’m a player in a small guild which is not oriented towards WvW, but I’m a very active WvW player myself. I would love to just have a Vent server to hop on with a larger group of players for strategy and group tactics.

It feels like our server is ripe for some leadership and organization, having the players and the spirit but not a ton of discipline or experience playing specific roles in a squad.

I support any effort on SF to coordinate and get things done right.

Please forgive my belated response, I’ve been occupied over the weekend with work.

@Sir William PD – Many good fights against Darkhaven, both pre and post launch. I’d say we’re giving you a decent run for your money so far.

@Spartyr – I’m sure it would. Though I’ve to admit, feeding you misinformation would be fun as well.

Meeting is scheduled for tonight at 8pm CST for those who had offered participation. This will allow us to hammer out details before the next WvW reset tomorrow evening, and we’ll be ready for it.

Here’s to Sorrow’s Furnace cooperation and victory.

The Alliance between our guilds is formed. Sorrow’s Revenge now hosts the guilds of [GODS], [FURY], [TEST], [GWS], [PK], and [RAWK] have formed a functional coalition. We will be operational for the next WvW reset. In the meantime, we openly invite any other interested guilds.

[FURY] has been added to the list appropriately.

I’m one of the officers of Comitatus Bellicus de Optimus [CBO] and we generally have 3-5 people in WvW on average, with upwards of 5-8 (small-ish guild). Those of us that have been in WvW have been waiting for something like this. There was an early attempt at organization late in beta, but it fell through.

I just happened upon this post, so my guild doesn’t know about it yet, but I’ll bring everyone up to speed. Please either PM me or /w me in game and we can maybe start to get some coordinated efforts started.

I’m a guild officer on Darkhaven and would like to say thanks to both Sorrow’s and Sanctum for a really great match last week! It was so much fun and I love a close, 3-way battle. And boy, was it close all around; a real nail-biter.

I encourage both SF and SR to organize this sort of thing; despite all the challenges of doing so. Rest assured, Darkhaven has learned a lot from both of you, will be even more organized than before. Personally, I am quite happy about assigning the same WvW servers. This rematch will be the true test of our mettle.

Oh and if you are about to start a 1v1 battle with a Darkhaven player, we’re staring each other down, sizing each other up, and he waves/salutes you right before the fight, it’s probably me.

Cheers to all and remember to have fun; don’t stress too much over this stuff.

We had a blast and I am very happy to see the new matchup.

Even if we lose, we still have bragging rights however that we won the first.
