So I was looking up the history of my favorite race today in class and I came across a little info that got me thinking.
“The seed which sprouted the Pale Tree was found in a cave containing many others like it, guarded by powerful plant creatures. If Ventar and Ronan were to take more of the seeds would there be more Pale Trees in Tyria; like around the continent? How would that turn out? Would the Nightmare court have control of one of the trees? Would the trees have their own distinct personalities and and dreams?

Through one of the Sylvari storylines we do know that there is another Pale Tree with Sylvari. I think that the Sylvari from that pale tree doesn’t know what the dream of dreams is which suggests that is something unique to our tree.
Also the Nightmare court are initially unaware of this so they probably have no sway over this other tree.

Yes, our think our Pale Tree only grew the way it did because of the influence of the dragon sleeping at its roots.

Erm…. are you being serious, or are you just saying that for the post you quoted?
If you were being serious I’ll just wave the tablet the Pale Tree loves so much in front of your face to show you why our tree is different to the other, because it had something to guide itself by, not because of a dragon.
Yay more Sylvari I do kind of wonder though, without Ventari and Ronan’s influence, what will these other Sylvari look or act like? If the Sylvari that we know of are based off of humans in appearance, and the morals of Ventari. Is it possible these other sylvari look like Ettins, and act like Quaggan? ,

Yes supposedly there are multiple pale trees in the world as the lore states that Ronan took the seed that grew into the pale tree that spawned us he acquired it from within a cave containing many other seeds just like it and guarded my strange ferocious creatures. This is also why some have theorized that the pale tree maybe a champion/ extension of some unknown nature themed elder dragon due to how we spawn and our collective knowledge/hive mind/mental connection to all other sylvari through the dream and that we are the only race in Tyria immune to dragon corruption(one of the key points in the theory as each dragons minions are immune to the corruption of other dragons ie. zhaitan cannot corrupt one of jormags dead minions).
I for one find it to be an extremely interesting theory and cant wait to see how the lore unfolds for my favorite race in Tyria. Sylvari for life =P
