I hate cheaters. I am a MAC user. I have no idea how to code or how to modify a game. Yet today I find myself accused of “modifying or tampering with the game”.

Can that even be done on a MAC? I am pretty sure my account was not accessed by someone else, (I authenticate using my email address as recommended), but I did NOT do it.

I tried to contact support but so far: no answer. All recommendations are welcome and appreciated.

I really like this game, and I hate cheaters, now I am been label as a cheater. I am innocent. This is not right.

Please help!!!

technically speaking yes it can be done. Does it happen a lot, not really. Mac is trickyer to program for

Yes, any program that can be modified on one computer system can be modified on another. There is no secret sauce on the Macintosh that make’s it impervious to hacking.

Do you know if this can be appealed? Support ppl are not answering.

Oh man! How do I miss the days when you can call to a phone number and get a real ppl at the other end.

I am sad, I should be angry, I am been labeled as a cheater!

Your only hope is the Ticket support system, you might not get the result you want but it is your best shot.

Putting in the ticket is Difficult but worst is the wait time, going on 30+ hours and i have not received any kind of reply from CS.

Ya, the ticket wait time is just… and it is even more of a rrrrrrr when it is the weekend… the prime time for anyone to play… Yet, a huge chunk of the player base can’t play…. We are getting no feedback about it at all. The kind you call people in for on the weekend and then give them a bonus or something for doing so as they solve the issue. =/

Difference is that is a regular ticket and these are tickets about complete lack of access to the game. These should be taken far more serious and elevated above that standard which is horrid anyways. Something only put up with in the videogame world. If an ISP, warranty, bank, high electronics provider, cell phone service, etc all did this? Well they do not as it costs them money so they have a tech support phone service. Even if those are horrid most of the time it gives you an option to jump hoops to a real person for large issues.

They need more people for support, they need a system to delegate tickets so smaller ones are not elevated above larger issues, and they need a punishment system in place for those who try to abuse the system to extremes.

72 hours? Really? Asking people to wait that without account access is just stupid. That is the whole bloody weekend.

That’s fine. I’m just stating what I’ve seen in the forums over these last few weeks. Most tickets are gotten to before 72 hours. 72 hours means they missed it or something went wrong, thus you post and tell them something went wrong.

They should get to you in under 72 hours however.

Nowadays the speed of the ticket system has increased and the waiting times are not that long any more. Kvothe, rest assured that Customer Support will contact you eventually and will deal with your issue; if you are innocent you will be playing in Tyria very soon.
