Acct issue with game bought for others

Just so you know Kendiara we had the same exact issue. We bought two digital copies for another couple, they used the keys and got in to play. After about an hour one of them was disconnected and got the same message your daughters friend did. Today makes a week and we still haven’t received any help with the issue. We did notice that the charge for one of the copies of the game was removed from our cards, I bet if you check your bank account you will see you weren’t billed either. Our only question is if we buy him another key and he adds it to the same account is it going to be blocked again.

As of this morning one charge is gone but the other is still there. My daughter got an email that it was being escalated, but nothing since then, not sure about the friend yet.
These things take time GL moving forward.

As long as you have submitted a ticket, the team can help you sort this out. There are a few reasons why this may have happened, but if you purchased from a third-party seller, I would imagine the codes were disabled due to fraud on the part of the original buyer (the person who sold to you).

Lessons learned the hard way long ago. Mostly I’m concerned because there was an earlier comment that my card was now going to be banned. (now redacted) They’ve got finals this week so play-time would be limited anyway

So now got another problem
Heard from support and one of the accounts is released so I went to re-purchase the game and it won’t take my credit card information. It allows me to use the card to buy gems on my account but not to purchase another copy of the game. Do I need a separate ticket? Is this going to happen again when the other account gets cleared and I try to purchase that one again? Am I going to have to fight for my own account because purchasing gems (mostly to check card status in your system) is going to be flagged as suspicious? I’m terrified to use a different card for this situation happening again and getting them blocked yet again.
Its a bit frustrating to not have any way to contact a live human and for my life I can’t catch anyone in the live chat ever.
Edited to add: I think I’m going to give up and just buy it retail once the accounts are cleared as this is simply not worth the aggravation on all counts.
