Authenticator issue
A couple of other people have reported this problem. It doesn’t sound like an Account Issues problem. Perhaps you could try posting in the Tech Support forum.
Not really hardware related, though.

Yeah, Support has not gotten back to me beyond telling me to do the serial code thing, which did not work. Subsequent support message was not responded to yet. My email gets messages from other sources, and from Support, but not from the email verification. It is really weird.
I am thinking that if I get this fixed, I’ll stop using authenticator from now on. It is just too much trouble.

i have run in the same problem on the same day. After contacting anet support several, i have found my problem to be with the Yahoo email system. I received an authentication in my spam, so i clicked on the “not spam”, somehow their system is now completely filtering email from the same source. I have contacted Yahoo but have not received any replies yet.
Also great support from Anet, they replied within 2-3 hrs every time i send them a request. Hopefully Yahoo support will be as prompt.
Having the same problem with mobile authenticator here. All authenticator codes are considered invalid, including when trying to unlink the authenticator from account options. The “unlink authenticator” button in the account recovery section is greyed out, as if I don’t have one active, so I can’t get over the problem.
The account options screen seems to believe correctly that I do have an authenticator active, but considers all codes produced by it invalid, while the account recovery screen thinks I don’t even have one active.
I can only log in from systems that I have already authorised until this is fixed, and that can be a pretty big problem.

They ended up just turning off my authenticator, so now in-game I keep getting disconnected with a message saying something along the lines of “you have been disconnected because this account has been accessed from a different device”.
I had the same problem with the greyed-out button. Since my IP changes every two days, I can never have my system set to be remembered by the authorization.
I used a @yahoo.ca account. Not sure if there is a problem between Yahoo and ANet; the day before the issue began Yahoo began putting the Authorization emails into my spam folder.

I received a reply from Yahoo, they stated it is a known issue for them.
This is happening to a friends account. What was done to resolve the situation?
