I cannot login to the game using the very same password I just entered here to write on the forum. I have not changed my password recently and I can remember it perfectly (as does my browser). It is the first time I log in after the Tuesday patch.

Any ideas what might have gone wrong?

Just as a sanity check, make sure you are using your email address (Account Name) and not your Display Name, LlewelynMT.6247, on the game login. This last patch cleared the Account Name and Password from the launcher so people (like me) that have not had to enter that stuff in a while might have put in the wrong information.

I use my e-mail address all right. I retyped it into the window (I normally have the game client remember the name but not the password). My Account Name was preserved after the Tuesday patch. I was playing on Tuesday before the patch and it worked fine. I double checked for possible typos. I also logged in here using the same password, on the first attempt, so I remember it correctly.

Strange if you can get into the forum but not the game, since they share the same login.

Maybe try going to the password change screen and changing.

Or try running a client repair.
