I submitted a ticket the day of headstart, after making my first character, and noticing my hall of monument stone was missing, so I rerolled that character. I was un aware that the collector edition items would be 1 per account. So I didn’t even think about it when I deleted. All your reply said was it is an issue we are working on it bla bla bla…
I paid extra money for the extra items. I have no items… I honestly do not even know why you cannot have more then 1 Miniature Rytlock. It is a bound item, why on earth would I want just 1, to have to bank, then swich to one of my 7 other characters, find another bank to take it out and use it. Then re bank it if I decide I want to run around on another character etc etc etc ANNOYING!!!!!!!
As far as the Chalice of Glory and Tome of Influence. I can see why they would be only 1 per account – well the Tome of Influence anyways (create alts over and over to use over and over). But the fact is I never got to use either of them, even though I paid for the use of them. The idea of giving my character a small boost in PvP would be awesome, the fact I have to pick only 1 character to do so on? wtf?!
You guys might of wanted to state somewhere under collector edition in big red text somewhere that these 3 items were ONLY 1 PER ACCOUNT… the extra cash would of stayed in my pocket that is for sure! Then the fact I did pay, and I didn’t even get to use these 3 items really puts that final nail in the coffin you know….
Fix this issue now please!!!!

“Hi ,
The Tome of Influence and Chalice of Glory are one-time rewards that grant account-wide bonuses which is why you do not get a new set on each new character. We are currently working on a way to restore these items to anyone who deleted them by mistake.
Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for you at this time, as the investigation into how to resolve the issue is ongoing. I apologize for the wait, but we are doing our best to get you the items as soon as possible!

but i look at some of the post on this forum saying they already got DDE/CE items back after they deleted their char ….

Really? What about your reply in https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Need-my-DDE-items-back/first#post111036 where you say “The distributions are made periodically”? I’m not going to try and guess at what’s actually happening, but your two comments appear to be somewhat conflicting.
Just how much patience are we supposed to have? My ticket is now 3 weeks old and, apparently, there’s no indication as to when my ticket will be resolved! This has, without a doubt, turned into the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

Hello,
I was sorry to read about the item loss that you have reported, as a result of deleting one of your characters. The in-game items associated with the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of Guild Wars 2 were intended to only be sent to the first character created on the account, as they can be migrated between characters using the in-game bank feature.
When deleting a character, the game prompts the user to acknowledge that the process is permanent, and that any items associated with that character will be irretrievable. As such, we will be unable to provide any form of compensation, as the game mechanics associated with the reported loss are functioning as designed.

The mini pet is nowhere to be found and I do not have the ring on any of my characters.
I do get the golem banker on all my characters.

Hey, i’m also needing my items replaced i was told it’d all be fixed asap and here we are still with no fix :/
i’ve had a ticket open about this since the very hour early release went live. it’s been closed and re-opened by support so many times
i too wa stupid and deleted my first made character while having all of the DDE items in her inventory. i then spent money on the gem store and spent 2k gems hoping to get th emback. never sent
so out 2000 gems, and no pup/tomes. and no help from customer service.

Hi,
I’ve opened a ticket ( 120825-013399 ) on release explaining my problem and have got a response saying the issue will be resolved soon. I’ve closed the ticket thinking that it would but it hasn’t. I have opened another ticket on the 13th of September ( 120913-001618 ) which, today, has been closed without any response.
How it happened:
1) Created a character(A) with a name I wanted. ( Couldn’t access HOM )
2) Created another character(B) with a different name ( Can access HOM )
3) Deleted first character(A) and recreated the character(A) with the same name.
After playing an hour later on character(A) I realized I had lost my Collector’s Items.
I don’t know if I should open another ticket seeing as my second ticket was ignored and closed without a response.
Just wanted to throw my name in with the lot of others who are still waiting on item restoration. I posted earlier in the thread (page 1 or 2, cannot remember), but I did not include my ticket number. So here it is:

This is the last comunication i received on september the 6th:
“We’re writing to you today in response to your support ticket asking for help with Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition in-game items.
These in-game items are consumable, and are provided to your account using the in-game mail system. You can leave them in the in-game mail for as long as you want. Once you take them out of the in-game mail into a character’s inventory, be sure not to delete the character with those items in their inventory.
We’re going to replace these items on your account by sending another copy of them in another in-game mail. But there are a couple of things you should know:
•Each item can only be used once per account. If you already used the first copy of the item you received, the new copy you receive will not be functional.
•We can trigger a second distribution of items just one time per account. So when you are deleting characters in the future, take care to move your special items to your storage so that you do not delete the one-time items.
Thanks for your patience as we worked out the resolution to these issues, and thanks as well for your support of Guild Wars 2!

Hello. Never received my mini rytlock. The first ticket i submitted 120825-004014 was closed on me without any more response other then “a fix is coming soon” and that was back at head start access. I just now submitted another ticket 120918-001495. Hopefully this one will help me get my mini.

I have yet to get my Collectors Edition items after applying my collectors edition serial code. When I enter it in the register thing it says I’ve already applied it to my account (Even though it says serial code overlap)… yet I have got NONE of my CE items. Please help.

Deleted my first character 5 mins into the game and lost the tome, chalice but most importantly the mini Rytlock because this is the first time I’ve played a game that distributes items in this way. The support response said that a fix was on its way and the support answer in the self-help support site just says that items will be automatically re-sent to affected players, but it doesn’t say whether or not we need to be actively taking action and keep resubmitting tickets
All I know is that it seems like people are getting items above, but I haven’t still been taken care of even though my ticket is so old.
I know exactly what happened and it is Anets fault. The last suprise beta, it was about 4 hours long the day before your game went live alot of we gamers checked in and played a bit enjoying the post game fun. Well we also had our items in our inventories, i did, so everyone else also had them. Guess what anet, when they deleted that final set, guess what also got deleted, our stuff, account wide, i certainly did not type delete or anything else or do anything other than look at my purchase items and then wonder where they went when the game went live.

Ok…so I see here that there was already some kind of new distribution? Why I wasn’t confirmed anyway about it? I’ve created ticked 120826-014153 – you can see how old it is.
But I’ve closed it because you wrote that you will do something about it and because I thought that you have so many others, more important problems that I didn’t want my ticket to lay there only to occupy space.

I created a ticket on August 25th about how I decided I wanted to re-create my original character but I left the chalice and tome items in his inventory. I was reassured that I would get my items back. I attempted to submit another ticket on September 9th but an automatic message told me it would be fixed. It’s been past 3 weeks, no resolution at the moment.
Though I saved the mini pet by having him put in a collection tab I’d appreciate the full value of my collector’s edition purchase by getting the tome and chalice.

I’ve been waiting since the first hour of the head start also. My original ticket that was closed on the 25th : Incident#: 120825-012452 – only got a reply that the poroblem is there and working on a fix…
Second ticket couple weeks later Incident#: 120908-002373 – Just got a reply from this yesterday saying “you dont have a way to reimburse items, still working on a fix”
I see people are getting the “fix” in this thread and people submitting tickets more recent than those in the head start are taking precedence ??? Also, I cant access support so I dont know if this ticket is closed or not.
Need to be fixed please……PLEASE?

Please do something about my ticket Gail. I have been patient, I really would like my mini pet and stuff back that we payed extra for.
I too have logged a ticket since first day of headstart August 25th – my first post here, I’ve been patient and desperately waiting. Please help – this long wait has made me increasingly worried. I can appreciate that there are many other issues that A-Net is dealing with, but please, prioritize this a bit more. Most of us are the loyal customers of GW that decided to purchase DDE/CE, and after all, we did in fact pay real money for this.
All I would like is the items that I purchased.

Info for you: The team is still trying to figure out the best time to make a distribution of missing or accidentally-deleted DDE/CE items. They intend to make some game changes that will prevent this from happening to people in the future. There will be another distribution, but I’m not sure whether that will happen before the design change is in place, or whether the team will wait and do a final distribution after the situation is fully resolved.
I’m sorry I don’t know more, but it’s actively under discussion and your ticket numbers are being gathered.

I created a ticket during headstart but closed it as the reply was that a fix would be implemented ASAP. I have created another ticket as I believe I would not be in this distribution list due to me closing the ticket.
