A couple days ago I was WvWing with my guild and all the sudden I got disconnected no biggie i figured I’d relog, instead of going to the character select screen it stays at a black screen for about 5min, at this point I thought the game froze so I “ctrl alt delete” and shut Gw2 down. I go to load Gw2 again and gives me messages like “unable to authenticate privileges to play.” then I get another message if I keep trying that states “my trial account or whatever is expired.” I have the CD and the Serial code plus my account has like 1800hours logged so how can it be a trial? I’ve submitted my support ticket with as much details but Anet still hasn’t responded and it’s been about 3days already. My friend says that they’re usually fast when it comes to replying so I don’t know if they’re still working on it or my ticket is still in the back of the line or something. At this point I’m kind of desperate I just want to play the game again
Also, the reason I’m writing this from my brothers account because my account won’t even log into the forums.

If anyone can help me please don’t hesitate. I’m open to all suggestions.
If you are experiencing this same problem please feel free to say something I kinda I feel like the only one with this problem.

I’ve submitted my ticket to Anet the number is: 130728-000130

[Edit] My brother was unaware that using another person’s account on the forums was against ArenaNet’s policy from here on I will be posting on his behalf.

Umm… Your links go to pictures of fishing and stuff. Did you mean to post other pictures or were you just sharing?

It looks like you just linked to Photobucket as they are just new recent pictures when your links are followed. No need to re-post you can edit your original post.

Try copy and pasting the links it didn’t work for me when I clicked them but copy and paste works.

Try copy and pasting the links it didn’t work for me when I clicked them but copy and paste works.

If you have the pictures saved to your computer you can just attach them to your post. If you don’t see the choose file option when you post select advanced options and you should see it.

It sounds like a bug. If they haven’t answered in 3 days then post in the stickied Tickets For Review, 3 Days and Older. Be sure to put you ticket number. It also wouldn’t hurt to edit your post and put the ticket number in it.

They also don’t want you to be using other people’s accounts to post. That’s a big no-no with them. If you post there, have your brother post for you. You can tell him what to say.

Chances are, you didn’t get hacked. This was a major bug a while ago and it occurred to everyone until anet fixed it. So I’m not sure why it’s happened to you, but I’m sure anet can fix it.

Well, Gaile might possibly lock this thread. So have him post in the stickied thread, just to be sure. :-)

And that bug kicked just about everyone out of the game game for a while. Lots of perturbed people on the forum. Lol.

When my brothers account is fixed I will be sure to notify you, until then we’ll have to wait on ArenaNet to reply.
